What a wonderful way to end a scenic drive down the fruit loop. The burgers were delicious, onion rings and curly fries perfectly crispy. And if the view of the mountain wasn’t cool enough, there were small planes flying right over making it a great atmosphere. This will be our go to place for burgers out there.

Twin Peaks feels like the perfect mix of rustic and modern. The place has that warm, wooden cabin vibe, but everything runs smoothly and feels up to date. The burgers are seriously delicious, and they’ve got plenty of options to satisfy any craving. The drive-thru and tablet ordering system make it super easy and contactless, kind of like McDonald’s but way cooler and tastier. It’s the kind of spot you go to once and immediately want to come back.

Nice spot for lunch and watching planes fly above you. The airport landing strip is directly across the road from this place and it’s also in the landing area so you may think the plane is going to land on you while you’re eating or looking up, but don’t be alarmed! Burgers are good, onion rings delicious, lemonade sweet! Great efficient service by two elder ladies working the back.

This is my new go to spot when in Hood River area. The burger, fries, and milk shake were all delicious. It’s across the street from a small airstrip with amazing views from their cozy patio setup. Big bonus for actual peanut butter chucks in my milk shake!

Food is five star from the oldies but goodies days! Our family ordered: curly fries, jalapeno chicken, kids burger w added veggies, twin diner cheeseburger w added veggies, fries, fry sauce, ranch, and shakes…best real shakes!! The lady at the counter was one of the nicest people youll ever meet. The outdoor patio looked nice, but we went indoors. The indoor seating left a bad impression, but maybe theyre working on it, and their food and shakes were totally worth it regardless. If visiting the columbia gorge, hood river, or the dalles…this small but yummy place is worth the extra drive. They also offer drive through and had cool pictures on the walls of old cars and such. I totally recommend this diner.

This was a cute little Diner. We just got done down the road at the museum and wanted to try this place. The reviews seemed not all that bad so why not?!_
When we arrived, we were a bit confused; luckily there is plenty of open gravel parking even for us who were driving a full sized crew cab dually.. the sorta confusing part was seeing everyone outside waiting and trying to take turns on a Kiosk like computer to order. We didn’t now tell a bit later that you could ALSO go INSIDE to order and also seating inside as well. My wife went online on her phone and saw that you could order your selection(s) from your phone thru there website.. although compared to others such diners, there prices were slightly better then typical of today BUT at the same time almost everything is nickle_and _dimed here; cheese, mushrooms, even CONDIMENTS. we all enjoyed our meals yet. We ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers ( one with mushrooms_(extra), a bacon cheeseburger with extras and i got like a steak sandwich with cheese_extra. We also ordered a LARGE curly fries. the picture online showed a picture of a BASKET of fries_ which we assumed would be enough for 4 people to have just a little.
My meal was ok; despite when as some of the toppings fell out onto my wrapper my wife reached in and litterslly pulled a about a 6″ hair from the tomatoe that had fallen out off my sandwich. I wasn’t going to say anything because who knows if/where it came from.
My sons bacon burger with mushrooms had NO mushrooms on it. My wife’s burger was good she said and my daughter’s burger was ok too. The fries we GOT was a little baggie that was maybe enough for one person. We weren’t going to complain; we were hungry and the place was mediocre busy and we just wanted to eat and continue on.
I personally really enjoyed the nice sized cups with lemonade. ( no straws were out// available)

I absolutely loved this small mom and pop restaurant. It’s located about five miles from the interstate and off the beaten path. Fresh ground beef and patties made on site. Served with a smile. The food was served hot. There is a small airport right across the road from the restaurant, and people will literally fly in and park their planes just to go to this restaurant. I am glad that we made the effort to find this little out of the way restaurant.

roadside burger and chicken sandwich joint with a beautiful view of Mt Adams, Mt Hood and the local airport with hang gliders taking off. everything is freshly handmade and takes about 20 minutes but totally worth the wait.

My favorite burger place in the Gorge! Super easy online ordering, an easy pick up system where you wait in the parking lot until you get a text, and an awesome menu.
The food is delicious. I always get a plain burger and the flavor of the burger is sooo good! The shoe-string fries are heavenly, especially if you ask for crispy, and the malt milkshakes are just too good.
Also, the view is fantastic, with planes landing and taking off across the street and the two mountains in the distance.
