I love stopping by La Roux whenever I’m visiting Victoria. As a European, the pastries make me feel like I’m back home… I have tried many different pastries, and all were delicious, but the (chocolate) croissants, macarons and carrot cake are just heavenly. Nothing better than going for pastries and pair them with the local Levelground coffee on a chill weekend day… The cakes made to order are phenomenal and are beautifully decorated for the special occasion.

If you’re a fan of croissants like me, butter, almond, or chocolate, this is the place to go. Their pastries are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they take pride in what they make. The service is always warm and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. You keep coming back to it without even thinking about it.

I’ve been visiting this bakery shop since it opened many years ago. Its Pistachio coffee tart is my absolute favourite and the best in town! Recently, I had a bad experience at the shop with the product packaging. The shop has done a phenomenal job of correcting it with exceptional customer service. Thank you for everything you’ve offered! The service is always warm.

Even the cream on the hot chocolate wasn’t fresh, the chocolate was bland and lacked any chocolate flavor. The cannele was completely hollow and had no texture or rum flavor at all. The French chocolate cake was just overly sweet and tasteless, and the caramel pudding was mediocre. Despite the great location and decor, the food was truly terrible. I don’t believe the chef is from France.

I went home with a Profiterole and Paris brest to share. Both were flavorful and delicious, not overly sweet at all.
The interior was lovely and the staff behind the till we’re absolutely pleasant to deal with.

The design was beautiful with macarons and chocolate pieces on top, and the taste was even better rich, chocolatey, and not too sweet. Everyone loved it! When I picked up the cake, the place had such a cozy and welcoming ambiance, which made the whole experience even better. Thank you for making our celebration extra special. Highly recommend!

La Roux Patisserie is a total gem.From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh pastries and coffee is heavenly. We tried their coffee and cake combo, and it was the perfect pick-me-up. But the real star was the Paris-Brest ,the pastry was perfectly crisp, and the praline cream filling was just divine. It’s clear that they use high-quality ingredients and have serious skills in the kitchen, food was not overly sweet which is how we like it. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and indulge. Definitely a must-visit for any pastry lover!The customer service was great , he treated us very well.
