It was my first time here my meal was delicious hot and fresh. I will be coming back. Delicious catfish was seasoned to perfection. Hats off to the chef in the back. The fries were seasoned and hot link had just the right amount of kick to it. The shrimp were good too.

Wanted something exciting for New Year’s Eve and was disappointed. Great service dark inside no good lighting. Food I had to give a low star due to smaller than small size pieces of fish. Who put store bought cheap hot sauce in cup and call special sauce. Store bought rolls OKAY ‍ Interesting ranch tarter or IDK sauce but it was not good at all sorry. The macaroni and cheese whoever made needs crash course in that food it was so dry had no taste. I’m from the Texas so I have authority over Mac n cheese. Only my mama’s collard greens will do thanks! I will never get a refund for this waste of money and food which is upsetting. If you are going to call this soul food maybe start with the soul first y’all be sweet now!

Great clean, local spot with a welcoming vibe. The catfish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, clearly cooked fresh and well seasoned. I enjoyed it so much that I’ll definitely be ordering this dish again.

I tried Twin Locos Kitchen for the first time shortly after they opened over the summer and this spot feels reminiscent of the Midwest.
On my visit I ordered the 2-piece Fried Catfish with a side of collard greens, and let me tell you, I’d absolutely get it again (and did). Next time, I’ll ask for the catfish to be fried hard (and did, but I don’t think they fried it hard), just how I like it. Still, it was flavorful and satisfying.
The collard greens had a surprise spicy kick (not listed on the menu), and I was so here for it. The whole meal tasted like my family was in the kitchen cooking, comforting, soulful, and made with care.
Service was top-notch. The twins were incredibly attentive and accommodating, which made the experience even better.
I’ll be back soon (and did). Twin Locos is serving up love on a plate.

Wow!!! This place will bring you back to eating at home or your grandma’s as a child, especially if you are southern style! I haven’t had homemade mac n cheese that good or a homemade sloppy joe (not from a can!) ever and that good! Sloppy joe meat was a little greasy but so tender and well-balanced, not overly sweet or too salty! Seasoning on French fries is awesome and very similar texture and style compared to In N Out (but with really good seasoning)! Husband ordered the cheeseburger and loved it (as did I after trying it)! Thick patty, flavorful, bread on both sandwiches rounded out these great choices! I ordered the fried catfish and even though I prefer cod, I would definitely order this fried fish again from this place! It was portioned well, not overly breaded or over fried, was so good with the tarter sauce and paired well with the seasoned fries. Mac n Cheese definitely goes well with sloppy joe so i recommend ordering the two together. Highly recommend, was $35 for all of our food plus a beverage. Super friendly service, soul music is very fitting for the food and the rustic decor makes this dining experience a breath of fresh air!

Was served drinks with no ice for New Year’s Day. I don’t understand how a family owned business can allow something like this when there is a grocery store right next door. Personally if I owned a restaurant and we ran out of ice I’d make sure my customers were satisfied and taken care of. Was served flat soda waited like 20mins for our food to come. I ordered a burger and fries, the burger itself was 13$ which is insane it doesn’t come with any fries. The burger tasted like a fast food Wendy’s burger had no flavor to the patty. My friend ordered a flatbread pizza and it looked like a tostinos frozen pizza she didn’t want to eat it, she said it was too soggy. We walked out because the service and quality of the food was poor. The music was also really loud could barely even have a conversation also very dark inside in middle of day. The waitress/lady was really nice but the cook/owner tried coming out to talk to us and we told him in the parking lot that we weren’t satisfied with the experience and walked out told them we won’t be coming back.

I’ve been to a location in Mesa owned by the same family, but this place has everything D-Mac’s has plus more. The Twins are making magic happen in the kitchen. I love the flavor profiles and portions. Bring a group with you and enjoy comfort food and drinks.

First time here the catfish was wonderful. The Mac and cheese was not too well. The pudding was without pudding in it. It was like waffers and whipped topping but I did taste the banana flavor. Rolls are not warm or cooked. I ordered from Orlando browns website originally. Not sure what happened but I sat waiting for my food for over a hour. I ordered the fish when I was there waiting and was actually satisfied with it. Reading that this has happened to others waiting a hour for food means its a practice not just a one time mistake. I didnt read the reviews before going because Orlando brown doesnt advertise that restaurant and tries to say they are different but they are not. Everything on Orlando’s advertising is on the twin loco menu. So just to bring business I get it. I usually do complaints alot more seriously on bad service but I had to leave a review after reading the reviews.

Went went here for lunch on a Saturday and they were very prompt to greet us and seat us. Very attentive. Our food was fresh to order and everything was sooooo good. We had the catfish 2 piece meal, one with greens and the other the Mac n cheese plus a 6 pieces honey bbq wings. It was allllllll delicious!!! I’m picky about my wing size – not to big and not to small – they nailed it! Fish was light and crispy served with tartar and hot sauce. We’ll definitely make this one our rotation of favorite local restaurants ♡ added bonus is the twins were the ones serving and providing the excellent service! P.S. affordable + quality + service = go check it out!
