Had an exquisite duck dish and Mom grabbed a gluten free pizza (but they didn’t have dairy free cheese). Very nice area and nice atmosphere inside (though current Halloween decorations are a bit odd). Only significant complaint was wheelchair ramp came up to a locked door and Mom had to weave the walker between patio chairs, tables and gaps in the deck. On the way out they briefly unlocked that door for us but ought to be accessible all the time. Otherwise, very nice place.

This restaurant is a mid to upper class gem. My girlfriend and her family have been coming here for years, and the head chef is very talented and likes to add little surpise twists to the menu. You can get there by taking either of the Turkey Creek exits off of highway 285, just past Indian Hills

Made a reservation but were sat at a high top with no tablecloth and paper napkins instead of cloth like the rest of the restaurant. Felt like the B seats. We should have spoken up so not blaming restaurant. Brussel sprout appetizers were excellent. Beet salad was mostly arugula with 4 slices of bland roasted beets and little feta. I’ve had this before and it was excellent. Blackened shrimp in my scampi was excellent but linguine sauce so bland and tasteless I couldn’t eat it. Partner had sugar steak and didn’t feel the quality of the meat met the price of the dish. Plating was very nice. Decided to forgo dessert and cut our losses. Been here many times and enjoyed it. They were very busy and restaurant was full. Maybe just an off night.

Tasty, upper class eatery hidden just off the highway.
Finally stopped in here and really enjoyed it. Although the name says tavern it’s a bit fancier than expected. I felt a little under dressed!
The onion soup was great and so were the brussel sprouts. The lamb was tasty as well.
This would be a good place to come for a more upscale dinner without the frills of a downtown establishment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The cocktails are dangerously tasty.
Definitely give this place a try.
For a main, two sides, desert and cocktails we spent about 70$pp with tip.
They also have what looks to be an event space for rent

It was our first time at Twin Forks and wow were we impressed. From the amazing service (Luke did a fantastic job explaining the menu options), the old fashion, to the delicious food we could not have had a better meal.
We ordered the chimichurri and the buffalo short ribs specials. We ended with the white chocolate bread pudding which we could have eaten 10 more of. If you’re in the area you have to give this place a try!! We will absolutely be back!

I’d give it 3.5 stars. We came for my birthday based on the outstanding reviews. The staff was absolutely wonderful but the food was a little hit/miss. The steak medallions, while the serving size was rather small, was delicious. The beef wellington pastry was a little under-done but the meat itself was very good. My daughter had the blackened shrimp pasta which, unfortunately, lacked flavor. My husband had the double cut pork chops and said that it was a little dry but was saved by the sauce. We also had the brussel sprout appetizer which we were told was the best on the menu, but was underwhelming at best.

Definitely a hidden little gem off the highway. You wouldn’t even know it’s there unless a local told you. It was quiet and a little slow when we went there but the service was really attentive and the quality of the food was pretty good. We would go back again if we were in the area. They have a lot of really good high-end options on the menu in a good selection of things to choose from.

It needs a bit of improvement. I got the pork chops and it was honestly so delicious. The pizza is also a great option. Unfortunately the rest of my group was not so lucky. 2 others in my group ordered the salmon and they both complained about an odd smell coming from the salmon and a strange zesty taste. Later that night one of them got diarrhea. One of the others in my group ordered the duck, and he said it looked a bit undercooked. However we were unsure if it was simply the way it was supposed to be cooked. Later that night he was extremely nauseous and was vomiting. Lastly, we reserved a table for my birthday and they asked us if it was for a special event and we told them that it was and what it was for. They confirmed our reservation. When we mentioned it at the restaurant all we got was a “Happy Birthday” and a pat on the back. I don’t understand why they made it seem like they were going to do something special only to end up doing the bare minimum. Obviously anything extravagant would have been paid for, but it was just so odd with the way they went about it. I expected great things from this place but was unfortunately disappointed.

I went here kind of on a whim. I was out in Denver for work and wanted to go somewhere nice on my birthday and found this restaurant. I didn’t know what to expect when arriving, but was greeted with a very warm welcome and the server Kris or Chris (sorry I don’t know how to spell her name) was my server. Very prompt, very helpful, and very kind. After I was wrapping up eating dinner, I told the waitress that it was my birthday and asked if they did anything for birthdays. She said of course and told me she would comp the desert. Apparently a couple nearby hear my story that I was there for work on my birthday, by myself and as I was finishing up my desert, the waitress informed me that the couple had paid for my entire meal. What a nice gesture as they were a younger couple as well. The only thing I know is they were in town for a show at red rocks, so if somehow either one of you read this. Since they had left before I got to say anything to them about paying for my meal….THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. It made me tear up a little bit and really made my day special and it is something I will never forget and will pay it forward when I am presented with the opportunity to do so.

The gesture means more than anybody would ever know, thank you again.

To wrap this up, I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a nice, warming atmosphere with excellent food. Would be a great place to take a first date to!

The outside view is amazing, the menu offerings are incredible if you’re a foodie, the quality of the food, strong cocktails, and plate presentation are better than nearly all downtown Denver restaurants, the attentive servers time everything perfectly and you never need to ask for anything, the dessert offerings are decadent perfection. Friendly and professional staff. Some of the best fresh seafood and steak we’ve had anywhere in the USA. AMAZING GOURMET EXPERIENCE!
