Five stars.

Matty Davison delivered standout hospitality at Twin City tonight.
You felt welcome from the start.
Service was fast, calm, and on point.
He read the room well and stayed attentive without hovering.
Drinks and food were handled smoothly.
You left feeling looked after.
That is how good hospitality should feel.

I booked a table for 8 teenagers. Respectful teens aged 16 year old. They attended and were told if an adult was not with them they could not go to buffet. They do not drink. Nor would they have tried . I tried calling to question but no answer and no one got back to me.
So now they are at another venue that also serves alcohol. This venue was happy to host them. They say its a family friendly establishment. Well done twin city’s
There is nothing on website to suggest this is the case.
MAYBE u should inform people booking of this . Very very disappointed grandmother.

Positives:
Huge variety — easily one of the most diverse buffets around. Honestly too many options to choose from (not a bad problem to have).
Every section was well stocked, from fresh salads and roast meats to curries, pastas, and hot sides.
Quality was surprisingly high across the board — not just “bulk buffet food.”
Friendly staff kept everything clean and topped up quickly, which kept the flow smooth.
Atmosphere was casual and family-friendly, perfect for groups or anyone wanting a big feed.

Negatives:
Only downside: with so many options, you’ll struggle to try everything in one visit. (Hardly a complaint, but worth noting.)

Verdict:
Twin City Hotel Buffet is a must-visit if you’re in Townsville and craving variety. Excellent value for the price, and the sheer range means everyone will find something they love. Next time I’ll have to pace myself better — the choices were overwhelming (in the best way).

A great selection but the fighting off the hoard of locals that mound their plates up like they haven’t ever eaten before was the hardest part!

So I have been to the buffet on a multitude of occasions ever since it had opened. It was always incredible quality and selection. It had been 4 months since I last went and decided to go back tonight. I was really disappointed to see most things were no longer an option, the selection was not as big and the quality had most definitely reduced. The price had also increased since the last visit. This is the first time where I feel like I didn’t get my value for money. Very disappointed with the lack of selection and quality compared to how it was before.

First and last time here. Paid almost $40 for a very lacklustre variety of foods. Too much fryed food. Rice and noodles are cheap to prepare along with 2 pizzas. No roast meats of any kind. It caters to the obese. Has to of been the worst buffet I’ve ever seen before.

Today, we had a very disappointing experience at Twin City Buffet. The front desk employee asked us to wait 15 minutes to be seated. However, after waiting for about half an hour, we still were not called, while several guests who arrived after us were seated.

When I inquired, the employee admitted he had forgotten to put our names on the list and then asked us to wait another 20 minutes. What was more frustrating was that he did not seem concerned about the mistake.

Mistakes can happen, but in customer service, it is important to make an effort to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. We chose not to stay for dinner and left instead. Overall, it was a very poor customer service experience.

I still don’t get it.
Why do they allow a massive line to build up.
If it’s a buffet that starts at 530, people should be seated and ready to eat by 530 sharp!
But they keep the gate closed until exactly 530, so you don’t really get in until about 545 to 6:00 pm (if is extremely busy).

It would be nice to have everyone that is here seated and ready to eat by opening of 530pm- if not, then the price should reflect that you don’t actually get to eat the entire time.

Thank you

My Only complaint is that its not catering to mums with small babies change tables are needed im not wanting to change my babys diaper on a flat and cold bench, and a comfy chair for breastfeeding mums to sit in would be a bonus, even just take note on a public shopping center parents room!
