We’ve visited Twigs locations many times, especially in Downtown Spokane, and usually really enjoy both the food and the hospitality. Unfortunately, our experience at the Spokane Valley location was completely different.
The food itself was great — the signature burger was juicy and delicious, and the fish tacos were excellent. The place feels a bit worn with older tables, but it was clean, and that wasn’t a problem.
What really ruined the visit was the service. Our server acted as if helping us was a burden. No friendliness, no warmth, just a constant sense of irritation. We asked in advance for our burger to be cut in half, she didn’t write it down, forgot, and simply brought us a knife saying we could cut it ourselves. On top of that, she was coughing, seemed unwell, and was serving without a mask, which felt disrespectful and inconsiderate.
What made it worse is that we clearly saw her being cheerful, smiling, and attentive with other nearby guests, while with us the attitude was completely different. It left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed to the point that we didn’t even feel comfortable leaving a tip. We ended up going somewhere else for dessert just to shake off the experience.
Great food, but extremely poor service. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to the Spokane Valley location.

Always love the food here!! First time doing restaurant week……. SOOOOO GOOD!! And don’t even get me started in our waitress, Nevaeh is amazing and kind! Just a joy to interact with. We had so much fun!! Totally come back again and again……

I’ve been to other twigs locations a while back and it wasn’t really for me. I always appreciated the ambiance so I decided to come back and I’m glad I did. They aced the abc of customer service class! ☺️ I got a mixed of their shrimp and fish taco and it was very good! The background music that was being played during lunch time was super upbeat & energetic! Service was quick while it was not giving you a feeling that you need to rush! During summer time, I recommend the outside sitting so that you can enjoy the flowers!

Patrick was an exceptional server. Very personable and attentive but not intrusive. The food was great, we especially liked the pesto burrata appetizer and the cheesecake platter for two from the Valentines menu. The braised short ribs were very tender, fall off the bone, but a bit over seasoned. All in all a very enjoyable evening.
