We came here for dinner on Valentine’s Day and our food was so good. Our server Kat was so friendly and helpful in deciding on a new drink when an ingredient ran out on what I had been drinking. The scallop special they had for the night was absolutely amazing. I’d go back just for those. We also got the truffle penne with steak and black and blue coulette. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Food first: I wish I could tell the chef how great my plate is today! 11/30/25 @2:45pm at the bar. Salmon was cooked wonderfully-and I’m usually a bit critical of salmon ( the only better salmon I’ve had yet was at Elways in CO) the lemon butter sauce met all expectations-it’s also a favorite of mine! The tomatoes were soft and my only regret is there wasn’t more of them to eat with the salmon and sauce lol. (Update: the chef brought me more tomatoes after I sent him my compliments!❤️❤️) The Parmesan(and cheddar?) was a simple yet potent garnish, slightly crunchy and I love that it didn’t overwhelm the dish- as cheese fanatics can often do… The veggies were cooked well and a bit mushy-which I love! I hate it when I order cooked veggies and they’re still crunchy. If I wanted crunchy veggies-I’d order a salad! Overall the crab salmon with lemon butter sauce is something I will come back for soon, and highly recommend! I love that I felt heard, and the overall experience was worth the price. My only slight is the bartender seemed too busy to take my order, and had the bar assistant serve me even though there were only 5 people at the bar other than me. As someone who spent a few developing young years in restaurants, I love an attentive server! So Haily should be noted as having wonderful customer service, she was smiling and attentive and accommodating. ❤️❤️

Really nice and cozy space for a solo date! Got to enjoy the tacos off the happy hour menu which was delicious! Really great service and music and noise level was acceptable.

Such a great place! Went there for date night and it was perfect. I had also tried an espresso martini that was so yummy. Would totally order that again! I had a southern fried chicken salad that was perfect to eat before the popcorn and slurpee at the movies afterwards. The salad was so tasty that I at everything on my plate. Looking forward to going back!

I have celiac and was traveling in Spokane looking for somewhere I can eat. I tried Twigs twice now because of others positive reviews. Had a great experience both times. They do not have a dedicated fryer and two separate people made sure I was aware before I even asked. They took thorough notes while I was ordering and told me that they made sure to also talk to the kitchen manager before my meal was made. Tonight I had an awesome salad and burger and felt great afterwards. I never eat salads out because crouton dust is everywhere, they assured me they would get lettuce from the back and understood I couldn’t have lettuce that had been near the croutons because of crumbs while people make the salads. Twigs is in the mall, the maps App leads you around all over, just go in the mall and up the escalators to get there. They have a separate GF meal and had quite a few options and my server was knowledgeable and very accommodating.

Twigs has always been one of our favorite spots for date night before a movie, which is why it’s been especially disappointing to have two subpar experiences in a row.
On our first visit, it took quite a while just to place a drink order, which I understand can happen when it’s busy. Our food then took close to 50 minutes to arrive. The server even mentioned it had likely been sitting before being brought out. I was already starving and nearly late for our movie, so I ate anyway. To his credit, the server was apologetic and did take 50% off our bill without us asking, which we appreciated.
The second visit was after a movie later in the evening. The only open table in the bar had a few glasses on it, but we were told we could sit and someone would be right with us. Unfortunately, several employees walked by, chatted, and no one acknowledged us for quite some time until someone came to take our drink order. My husband ordered an espresso martini and pulled what appeared to be cilantro or some type of garnish out of his mouth while drinking it. To top it off, the sticky cookie dessert, which used to be a favorite, seems to have changed, as it was served as a single cookie this time.
Having two disappointing experiences back to back was really discouraging, especially for a place we used to love. I hope this feedback helps, as we would truly like to enjoy Twigs the way we used to.

Twigs Bistro in River Park Square is awesome, if a little expensive. I have had several dishes and all have been very good but the burgers are the best in Spokane. My wife and family have had great experiences at this location every time we’ve eaten here. Rarely a wait and an outstanding staff. My markdown on atmosphere is because it’s open to the mall and can be loud with lost of shoppers milling around. This should not be a deterrent to dining here as the food and staff are both exceptional.

The reason why im giving them a 1 star is this. Im celiac and they never change the menu. I’m bored of the food at this place. It doesn’t hurt to add things. Add new thi as to it. People in Spokane with celiac have very few resturant choices here and it is ridiculous. So I go to the the South Hill Grill and ther is Izzy’s Homs Style Kitchen and also Wild Sage. They have great food and change the menu. I love eating there it isn’t boring. Change the glutenfree menu please.
