From the moment we walked into the hotel to the moment we left, we had the best experience. I’m a local but wanted a special way to finish out a rough month, so I made VIP reservations for the rooftop lounge and I do not regret having spent the money – we had the best seats in the house! The staff were absolutely delightful, pampering us right from the start and throughout our whole evening. The food was delicious and perfectly filling. Drinks were excellent and the sunset did NOT disappoint! Found our new favorite getaway spot here on the roof.

I love this hotel. It’s a great addition to Old Town Petersburg. Our first experience was at Shirley’s (main restaurant on the first floor) which was excellent. This time was slightly different and I wanted to give honest feedback. You are led to believe on their website that the best seating requires a $10 per person cover charge, paid upon reservation online. (No place in this area requires a cover charge to dine/drink.) Once you arrive you will see that those seats are really no better than regular (free) seating which was literally right beside the paid seating. The staff were very nice. The food was good but not worth the cost. They didn’t have several items on the drink menu available. The view from up top was beautiful. Take advice from a local:
Eat at Shirley’s restaurant inside the building and then go get a drink up top. Don’t pay for a seat. Take some pictures and call it a night.
