Went on a weekend it was packed but we had a reservation so I’d definitely recommend doing that. The food was amazing, loved the candied jalapeños on my burger. The buffalo chicken dip was great!

This place is amazing! Super friendly staff behind the bar with lots of great local craft beer on tap. The best part IMO is their build your own burger. The burger and waffle fries were amazing. Lots of screens around to watch sports. You can tell a place has great food when DoorDash drivers show up every 5 minutes to pick up orders.

I do really like this place. They have a lot of special events and ongoing I’ve attended. One of which was the perogie crawl during saint Patrick’s day weekend. They were pretty solid on making sure they took care of customers in a quick fashion. They also had a wedding party there and it was really nice to see the decorations and ongoing did not affect other clientele in the building. Everything runs like a well oiled ship.

The bar is always clean and tidy. The servers are wonderful and tuned into their customers. When I exclaimed about their espresso martini the bartender asked if I wanted to change my drink choice. Or when I commented on a drink she asked if I wanted to try it. It was a really nice experience having a bartender and other staff members care about their customers.

They have a pretty great draft list. I highly suggest the southern tier mokah drink if you’re into stouts. It’s a good mix of a bunch of different kind of drinks so there’s something there for everyone.

Food was great: delicious, large servings, and ready quickly.

I ordered the poutine as an appetizer, and it was fantastic, but big enough that I regretted having ordered a burger for my main. My wife has the chicken sandwich, and raved about it. (She’s planning to go back tomorrow for another one. )

We will definitely be repeat patrons.

My coworker and I stopped by last Thursday for a quick bite and some drinks. I ordered the smoked buffalo chicken dip, which was fairly tasty but a smidge too spicy for my liking. The tortilla chips were fresh and seasoned well. My coworker ordered the Cuban sandwich with collard greens and other than his bread being extremely over cooked, he said the sandwich was good. The greens were definitely one of his favorites. We also ordered a margarita flight, which gets an A+ off the presentation alone. We also came on R and B night (I assume because that’s what the DJ was playing) and thoroughly enjoyed the vibes. All and all, I’d be willing to come back again.

This is by far the best food I have had in my entire life (46 years).
The Cuban sandwich is better than I have had at any Cuban restaurant during my Army career and post retirement. The wings slide off the bone. The flavors of every menu item are out of this world. I will ONLY order from them from now on until I die. I can’t say enough. I want the cooks and owner to contact me so l can learn more about the menu and more things they recommend I order. I am BLOWN AWAY!!!

Awesome place to eat. Wednesday night build your own burger/fried chicken/black bean starting at $4.99. The fried chicken sandwich was insanely good. House made pickles, bbq sauce needed two hands to eat.

Holy smokes, this brisket was terrible (0 out of 5 stars). Dry, hard, and a tiny serving. We ordered 4oz and got 2.6. (It was so small that I had to weigh it). My wife described the taste as “worse than hospital food.” I agree. I’m not sure how this place calls themselves a bbq joint. I’m so sorry to the owners, but I have to be honest: this is the worst bbq I’ve ever paid for! Sausage was great (3.5), pork belly was okay (2.5). Corn bread was okay (2.5), sauces were good (3.5). Waffle fries were barely cooked (1). Collard greens were great (4), coleslaw tasted like something I can’t describe or google might take this review down (0). Lastly, the smash burger was just a regular burger (2). (Pittsburgh as a city has a habit of calling every burger a smash burger. But this wasn’t one. Sad.) Sorry y’all! I wish you the best but you’ll need to improve the brisket, fries, and coleslaw and learn how to make a smash burger. Everything else is 3 stars on average.

Great Bar on the Southside of Pittsburgh! Looking for a modern place to try in the city’s south-side strip…. This spot will not disappoint.
