7 of us traveled up here to NC from TX, to see my baby brother and his wife. My aunt has been here before and said THIS was the place we were going to for dinner while we were here. The 30 minute drive from our hotel was every bit worth it. The food was 10/10 but the staff made it 20/10. Kristy and Pam took great care of us and they were so personable! Everything was absolutely perfect! The food beats anything you’ll ever get on the coast in Texas

Great food! The inside is much nicer looking and less casual than the fun colorful exterior. It was hard to find my way in and out through the doors and hallways (I didn’t see an official entrance or any signage) I got the shrimp platter (old menus on line still say they have 2 different sizes but they only have 1, and it’s huge and 26 dollars) I wish they had a smaller plate, it was enough for 2 people and I really didn’t want to spend $32 with the tip on a solo dinner to-go but that’s what it was. The shrimp were big, lightly breaded and perfectly cooked, the fries had some sort of seasoning on them, maybe Cajun. They were good and the fried okra was great, I was very happy with the taste and quality of this meal.
I hear this establishment is for sale, hopefully who ever buys it can keep up the standard.

Customer Service was great friendly from the beginning to end. Kristy was our waitress really sweet. The food was soooooooooooo good. Steak cooked perfectly. Oysters were AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS…Crab crusted Flounder delicious. Sweet Tea was 10+Shrimp was cooked just right. Everything was delicious

We have been looking for some amazing seafood in this area for a while now, and just haven’t found “The Place”. Last night my wife and I finally found it. Short drive from Swansboro. We had the fried seafood trio. Flounder, oysters, and shrimp. It is served with French fries and Cole slaw. The portions were generous and made us feel like we got our moneys worth! The seafood was perfectly fried with a crispiness to it just the way we love it. The seafood was fresh and the server was very sweet. She gave us a sample of the she crab soup and we will be ordering that next time, it was very good. We have found “The Place” for seafood. We will definitely be loyal customers! Thanks for great food and portions!

The oysters were incredibly fresh, perfectly chilled, and beautifully presented. Every variety we tried was clean, briny, and flavorful. You can tell they take real pride in quality and sourcing. The rest of the menu didn’t disappoint either — everything came out hot, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared.
What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was our waitress, Kristy. She was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely kind. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she created an experience that felt personal rather than transactional. It’s rare to find service that balances professionalism with such a warm, welcoming presence, but Kristy absolutely nailed it.
Great food is expected at a good oyster house — but great service makes you want to come back. Because of Kristy and the consistently excellent oysters, we definitely will. Highly recommend.

My husband, myself and our 2 kids (3 yrs and 12 yrs old) went to T&W for a valentines dinner and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so polite and quick for service. We were seated right away infront of the fire place. Our waitress, Danielle was by far the best waitress we have ever experienced. She was cheerful, socialable, and ontop of everything we could want or need. She went above and beyond for my 4 year old and gave her extra crayons, papers to color and even got her extra lemons (my daughter loves lemons ). We will definitely go back and hope to have Danielle again! Thank you T&W staff for delicious food, and a perfect family night out

We came here tonight to celebrate my dad’s birthday tonight. The food was great and the service was even better. Danielle is the best server I’ve ever had. She was extremely attentive and kind. I had my two toddlers with me, and she was very in touch to all of our needs. We will definitely be back! Can’t recommend this place enough.

Six of us went here for oysters and fried seafood. The service was excellent. I had the full size fried shrimp plate. It was delicious and I took about half the shrimp home. Others had the half plate special of fried shrimp and two sides. One person got a half pound of peel and eat shrimp. They all cleaned their plates. On to the oysters. We ordered a full peck to split between us, which should be about 50 oysters. They shucked them before they brought them to the table. They were served on two plates with melted butter and cocktail sauce. My guess is we ended up with 25-30 oysters for $44. I’d go back again and just have a seafood plate, no oysters.
