Decided to eat here weather was bad and we were traveling and hungry. Place looks unassuming, however I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. I ordered the cannelloni pasta and a 12 inch supreme pizza to go. Everything was delicious. Bread was just a tad bit hard but flavor was on point.

I’m not sure why I was expecting there to be some actual Tuscan dishes on the menu. Maybe the name of the restaurant.
This place is basic 1 star pasta at best. No offense, I hoped for better. The price is extremely high for such low quality of food. The olive oil isn’t real. The house dressing tastes like seasoned ketchup. The pasta is mushy and the pesto, well the pesto isn’t pesto. See pic below. You ever bought store boxed pasta dishes? Those are better than nearly $20 a plate here. Most everything we tried was a false advertisement. Sigh. We tried because we wanted pasta the reviews were good. Either people don’t know good pasta and quality food or they got their friends to write these reviews.
Staff was shy and slow. We were the only table there.

My husband and I are visiting the area for the week. We thought we would give Tuscany a try after combing through the reviews. We arrived at 5 PM for dinner on a Wednesday. The restaurant was near empty. We were greeted by a host with a smile, and instantly taken to our table. Soon after, our server brought us our drinks and bread. We each received a side salad with our entrees. The salad was fresh and perfect sized for an appetizer. My husband ordered the Chicken Murphy (I tried the sauce and it was creamy & flavorful). I had the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was cooked perfectly, sauce was very tasty, and had the perfect amount of cheese. Overall, happy with the food & service. No issues during our visit. Good sized portions for the cost. Before tip, we spent $40 on our visit.

Edited Review (7/12/25): Oh NO! What happened?? You all finally had an amazing restaurant with absolutely delicious food! When we went this past Saturday (7/12/25), it was terrible. Service is still good (many of the same wonderful employees), but the food… what happened? Did you all get a new cook or something? Also, the decor is different, so I assume another new owner has taken over or something… just a complete shamble.
-Rolls: gross compared to how they were just a couple months ago. Dried up in my mouth with way too much salt or baking soda. How can you screw up the rolls? These used to be soooo good!
-House Salad: Grapes in my salad? What in the world? Again, gross to how it used to be.
-Fettuccini Alfredo: Y’all used to have the BEST Fettuccini Alfredo. Just look at how it used to be in my picture from this past April / May. What happened?? It was flavorless and made completely different than how you had it just a few short months ago.
-The pizza was like cardboard and awful. And again, look at my picture… it was wonderful back just a few months ago.
On top of all these food changes, you also lessened your portions compared to what you had just a few short months ago.
PLEASE hire back any cooks you let leave your place. Seriously, over the past year or two this place has been OUTSTANDING…. it was my families favorite restaurant in town. Now, after this recent visit, we won’t be back. Which is sad, because we loved this place.

Original Review (April / May 2025): When this place first opened in Brenham, I was not a fan. Went a time or two and the food was bland, rolls were hard, and just wasn’t a good experience. However, they have completely overhauled the customer experience with amazing service and even better food. The complimentary rolls are the best!! I.M.O they are better than the breadsticks at Olive Garden. My kids get their fettuccine alfredo and pizza (both delicious!). I always get their adult size fettuccine alfredo and it’s sooooo delicious! If you want great Italian food in Brenham, you must go to Tuscany Italian Grill!!!!

Nice place, clean, good Italian food.
Marinara Sauce was cooked the correct way, not overly sweet.
Greek salad with shrimp and a side of sausage & meetball. Actually a perfect combination… even to share l!
Food was very good.
Little sever gal was a bit inconsiderate. Not sure what was going on, but it was strange. Needs some training, hummm….

Chocolate eruption cake was a bit heavy, brownie base, fudge top. I was hoping for something a bit lighter.

I would definitely come back!

This is our second lunch visit. The food is great and consistent. The table service interactions are friendly and properly timed. The drink orders were taken and served alongside a basket of fresh baked bread. Our meal started with chilled salads and a second basket of hot baked bread. My wife had chicken alfredo, and I had lasagna. The portions are perfect for us to have two meals. We love Tuscany and are customers for life. We are excited to take our family and friends to the Tuscany Italian Grill.

Maybe it’s it was a bad day ? My car was the only one in front? My companion and I really wanted Italian for lunch! I ordered the Chicken Picard. He ordered the veal parmigiana. They were both terrible (disgusting)! My chicken tasted like it had been ripped apart and then tried be put back together into one chicken piece! So the texture and taste were nasty! Someone used 1/2 a jar inedible. My companion’s Chicken parmigiana was also looking reconstructed and the sauce was so bland. He has to watch his sodium consumption or he would have dumped a whole shaker on it! He said the side of spaghetti looked okay but was so overcooked it was like eating a bowl of mush! This was no Tuscany cooking… this was not even an attempt to follow a cook book. Now I understand why I never see many cars parked in front!!!! Your cook (not chef) needs to go back to cooking 101!

Large restaurant off 290 going into Brenham! Plenty parking, plenty tables and chairs, also booth and bar seating! Bar area has a tv. The host was standing at door, ready to greet the customers! Our server, Oni, was really great! She was very sweet and friendly! The food was delicious!!! I got the pasta trio and it was served hot from oven, but so yummy! My friend got the chicken pasta and it was a large serving! Also very yummy!!
The entire staff here was on point on customer service, cleaning and being nice with all their customers! I think you all need to go teach the management and staff at Local Table in Katy how to greet and service customers, ya’ll are definitely ! This place is too notch with really great staff! We are from Sealy, but will be back, food and great customer service is what we seek and found both here at Tuscany!

Reasonable prices and a very expansive menu. So many choices, even the dessert menu has lots of choices. Friendly staff and great service. We ordered the Chicken Cremora Mushrooms, 2 kids pizzas, and the combination dish(alfredo, chicken parm, and lasagna). All were excellent. We’ll definately be coming back!
