Beautiful atmosphere; nice & clean. Food is ALWAYS fresh and full of flavor. Chicken Tikka Masala and Samosa & Chaat are our faves! The owner came and checked on us during our fathers day visit. I got the Lamb Saag and Fish Pakora. Both good choices. Lamb Saag was buttery and savory. The fish Pakora had solid thick fish meat and a light crispy batter with lots of spices. The rice is fluffy. The service and atmosphere were fine. I also had their lunch buffet on another day which offered a lot of delicious options.

Solid buffet though you’ll want to arrive early as this place fills up fast. I can see why as the food is tasty and hot. Definitely recommend it, it’s probably the best Indian buffet I’ve tried so far in California.

This place had great food. Really surprised on the punctuality of hot food. I appreciate getting food thats supposed to be hot, and cooked properly. The Naan was on point, I almost ordered some more for the road. The curry, cheese, and naan servings were enough. Great taste and authentic.

The food was very good and all of the staff was polite as well. They brought the food out quickly and the price was more than reasonable considering there’s very few Indian food options in Merced. Would definitely recommend eating here if you have a taste for both Indian food and phenomenal service!

First want to start off by saying how amazing the staff is here at Turmeric!! They always go above and beyond to make sure all their customers are feeling welcomed within their restaurant! The food is amazing and the vibes are always great vibes!! The food gives you comfort and it’s definitely a restaurant where you can bring your friends and family to enjoy a delicious authentic Indian cuisine meal!! The owner is an amazing super outgoing person who always is asking how my friends and I are doing in school and funny story he actually says I look a lot like his niece! Which I’ve only seen in pictures but it is actually a pretty good resemblance! So shoutout to him for always being so welcoming and amazing and for genuinely caring for all his customers! Definitely will recommend this place to other students and people in general!!

While the restaurant’s reputation for diverse and aromatic dishes excited me, my pick-up order experience left me with mixed feelings. My excitement was short-lived. Within a few hours after consuming the meal, I began experiencing digestive discomfort and severe nausea which led to vomiting continously. The symptoms worsened, and I found myself unable to eat or drink anything for the next 24 hours.
