I am genuinely so impressed with this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The meats were perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender — every bite was flavorful and cooked just right. The mix Grill was just perfection.
The dessert (Kazandibi) was outstanding and the perfect way to end the meal. Truly so good.
The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and so accommodating. You can tell they really care about the experience they provide.
I honestly kept waiting to find something I didn’t love — but I can confidently say everything was a 10/10.
Finishing dinner with Turkish tea really hit the spot. It’s not sweet, but it’s incredibly soothing and smooth. If you’re a tea drinker, you’ll definitely appreciate it.
Highly recommend. I’ll absolutely be back.

this place was simply amazing. i went with my boyfriend and we decided to get five different things (three appetizers and two entrees) and every single one was insanely good. they also brought us some complementary dips to try with some delicious fresh bread! our food came out very hot (or cold for the dips!) and everything was immaculate. additionally, our server was very nice and the atmosphere was cozy. there was music but it wasnt too loud and it wasnt super crowded either! lastly, the owners (i believe) were around the restaurant checking on the guests and holding the doors open for them which felt great! we will definitely be back soon.

We came here for dinner and had a nice meal. We were immediately seated and served the complimentary olive dip and bread. We then ordered the hummus, baba ghanoush, lahmacun, beyti kebab, hunkar begendi, mixed grill, and an assortment of Turkish desserts including kazandibi various types of baklava. Although the food was good overall, we thought the prices were excessively high for the quality, especially the mains. If we come back, we would order more appetizers instead of mains.

Love this restaurant. Finally a place with good grilled food and Turkish staples! Their food is so well done, it is the closest I have had to what I tried in my 3 years living in Istanbul, Turkey. The Pides are a must try, amongst many other great dishes!

I’m not kidding when I say this is the only food I have had in my life that I can give a 10/10 to across the board. In all the places I’ve traveled, lived, and ate, this is seriously the best. I spent most of the dinner just talking about how insane it was, I couldn’t even focus on any dinner topics lol. If you go, you gotta try the beyti kebab. It is so much more flavorful than it looks (and it already looks pretty good!). Best place in Delaware, or even in America by far.

My first time in this new Mediterranean eatery. When I walked in for lunch, I was immediately greeted with a smile.
I ordered a lamb kebab lunch special (11am-3pm) $13. Excellent. It came with a salad (I had Greek) babagannush, bread, fries and a drink. Everything was great. Cool spot with live music, but not sure of the days. There’s a show on December 27th at 7pm.
Give them a try.

‘The Missus (bless ‘er) and I were passing through Newark and decided to stop and give the Turkiye Kebab House a go,
We were not disappointed.Shortly after we were sat fresh bread and a delicious dip arrived at the table. It was difficult to not just gobble it up.
The taboule salad was extremely tasty and was, like the mixed grill we shared, surprisingly generous portions. The fries were hot (a serious issue for me)…
For dessert we shared a lovely strawberry cream cake and I had a turkish coffee to wash it down with.
The room is very large, but it was not an echo chamber so we had no problems hearing ourselves speak.
We are determined to make another visit when we pass through Newark again.

The mixed grill and lamacun are tasty and portion size is good. Vibe is really nice. A pleasant place to go with your family and friends to enjoy a meal. Our waiter, Zaferr was very good. They also give us some appetizer, Totally recommend.
