If you prefer taste over atmosphere, this is the right spot! Their lentil soup is famous, and it was amazing. I also tried their döner kebab sandwich and loved it. Everything was rich, flavorful, and amazing. Definitely worth checking out.

The best food in Pikes Place. There are many stalls, vendors and restaurant here. Many overpriced mediocre ones. Not Turkish Delight! This place is a gem. I lived in the Middle East for many years. I know this cuisine well. This is the best lamb stew, lentil stew and lamb shawarma I have ever had. Period. 10/10 for every dish I bought there.
And the Turkish delight, is a treat as well.
Friendly owners. Great service. Magnificent food. I rarely give restaurants high praise, unless it’s deserved. Turkish Delight deserves it! Go try it. You’ll be so happy you did.

Perfeeeect Baklava and Turkish Espresso!!

No need to travel to Turkey from Seattle! This place is owned by a Turkish family.

I have been to Istanbul before and i can say that their version is even more delicious!!

Baklava is flaky with generous crushed pistachio and heavenly sweet but not overly sweet! It pairs very well with their unsweetened coffee!

Warm and welcoming service from the family owned business ❤️

This is probably one of our favorite food spots in Seattle. Excellent food and friendly service from the sweet family who owns (works) in the store. Whenever we are visiting Seattle, we try to go a couple times because the quantity and quality is worth fighting the crowds near the Pike Place Market.

Today we ordered the chicken Döner Kebab and the Chicken Combo Platter (chicken over rice with salad and yogurt dressing). The chicken was very flavorful! The yogurt sauce was nice and tangy.

While we waited for the food we also got some Pistachio Baklava and a Turkish Espresso. (They have walnut baklava too).

This is hands down the best lentil soup and baklava I’ve had in the U.S.! The owner is absolutely lovely. The soup was incredibly flavorful—it tasted just like something my mom would make. The Turkish delights were also fresh and delicious. Everything felt homemade and full of love.

After braving the summer crowds at Pike Place Market, this was the perfect retreat for a healthy, satisfying lunch and a sweet treat.

From the moment we stepped inside, the owners greeted us with such warmth that I instantly felt at home. As a Turkish American, it was fun to order in my limited Turkish and to be received with the warmth reminiscent of my family in Turkey.

The food was clearly made from scratch and with love. The lentil soup was bursting with zest and flavor, with just a trace of lemon. The baklava was a generous portion, and the, delicate layers of filo dough were crisp and sweet. The generous layer of nuts and the beautiful dusting of pistachio on top made it as lovely to look at as it was to eat. If you haven’t tried it – try the deliciously salty ayran yogurt drink – perfect on a hot summer day.

This was my first visit back since I discovered Turkish Delight Café on a road trip with two dear friends 35 years ago. I was thrilled to see it still thriving, and even more thrilled to return with my husband and son. As we walked out the door, my 8-year old son said, “Wow, they seemed like our family”. Highly recommend—we will absolutely be back!

Absolutely love Turkish Delight! This family-owned restaurant is such a gem, Denisse and her mom are always so warm and welcoming. They even remembered me after not visiting for half a year, which made me feel like family. The food is consistently delicious, I highly recommend the doner wrap, chicken platter, and their baklava (it’s incredible!).

The vegetarian sandwich was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The lentil soup and pistachio baklava were also awesome but I’ll be dreaming about that sandwich for a long time!
