Truly incredible destination for some wonderful Indian food in the south side of Glasgow.
The menu is extensive, but not overwhelming and everything on it is superb. Cooked fresh, delicious and perfectly presented.
I go every time I visit Glasgow and that tradition will continue for a long time to come.
I’ve never used the takeaway myself, but the constant queue of people arriving to collect food is testament enough.

Fabulous meal last night.
I have eaten in the Turban for 35 years.
I don’t live on the doorstep now so a less frequent visitor, however it remains my go to for Indian.
Last night was superb. I am fussy !!
Food quality, service, hygiene, presentation, surroundings are perfect so it’s a 10 out of 10 from me and congratulations for keeping this Giffnock institution going for as long as you have. If anything I think last night was the best it has ever been

The Turban has been the absolute pinnacle of Glaswegian Indian food for me for the last 35 years! It remains consistently excellent and having coming back from overseas recently, Bobby and the team have raised the bar again! So much variety, so many amazing flavours!! Just wish they’d open a branch in Australia!

I have to say my recent carry out experience was disappointing from the Turban in Giffnock.
Whilst the butter chicken and chicken korma were tasty with proper pieces of chicken, the Chicken Patia only had small pieces of dry, tough chicken that mostly ended up in the bin. The pakoras (chicken and veg) were both lukewarm, required reheating, and not a patch on what I know to be the Turban’s normally high standard for quality.
Staff were perfectly nice and helpful at point of purchase, it was the patia dish and pakoras that were disappointing.

As a food blogger, I was invited to the first year celebrations of this restaurant and I got to try some of their fantastic dishes. Everything was outstanding; service, food quality and atmosphere. I loved the curries and the garlic naan was second to none!Would recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

Just back & really impressed, chicken pakora was soft & succulent & dipping sauces were really good, wife had mushroom pakora & loved it.
Had the chicken tikka Chasni & it also was amazing, full of flavour with really soft tender chicken.
We got the garlic cheese naan & that Also was superb. Met wee Jai he’s a credit to the restaurant, very friendly & helpful.
Would highly recommend this place, was definitely worth the half hour drive for us

First time eating out for Christmas dinner, a little bit apprehensive, looking back on memories of many works nights out at Christmas where the meal was a very rushed and 9 times out of 10, a very average affair.
Could not have been more wrong.
An excellent meal, excellent service and a very Christmassy time was had by all. Fabulous curries, all the usual suspects on the menu, and huge desserts to end.
Santa even appeared for a chat and to hand out gifts.
This way exceeded my expectations and all being well, I will be back for next Christmas.

We had an Itison voucher for the restuarant which is located in Rouken Glen Park. We were slightly disappointed that the voucher didn’t give us access to the full menu. We had to choose from a shortened menu. The food however did not disappoint. We felt that the drinks were expensive.
