What a mixed bag. The food was spot-on delicious; the best brussel sprouts I have had in a while; the “Carnivore” pizza was well made, not too dense; the pickled carrots on the kale caesar took it up a notch; the poutine was almost perfect, (cheese curd was cold, which isn’t quite right) but we are a long way from Quebec so I can get over it.
What actually ruined the place for us was the lack of hospitality. We had taken advantage of the night skiing at Silver Creek so it was a little late on a Thursday, but we were eager to finish the day with some cozy vibes and tasty food. We were seated just before 8:30pm, greeted by the hostess with a brusque warning that even though the hours say 10pm the kitchen will close at 9pm, so order up. Noted. We had no trouble finding lots of compelling options, placed our order within minutes, chose some tasty cocktails, and not long after the drinks were delivered the food was out, very efficient.
Efficiency should only go so far though. We had only just started tucking in to our main plates at 9:15 when our server wordlessly left the check on our table and multiple staff started circulating the dining room with brooms and dustpans, sweeping under tables and putting up chairs. By 9:30 the handful of other customers had gotten the hint and cleared out, leaving us uncomfortably aware we were holding them up. They did kindly offered a to-go box for the pizza we mistakenly thought we would have the time to enjoy hot. Fearing they might take the chairs out from under us I helped my wife finish her cocktail and at 9:45 we gathered our things and let ourselves out, ensuring they could have the doors locked and lights off by 10pm sharp.
So, if you want to enjoy a really creative menu at the top of the mountain, I would get there before say 7:30pm and you might actually get to relax and savor a delicious meal. But, if you are looking for a place to linger with cozy apres-ski vibes and friendly service to “cap off your day” anywhere near closing time, this is not the place.

We got the chili poutine and a carnivore pizza, and water. We chose this place because the menus online posted 2 months ago looked good with good pricing. These were not the same menus we received. Apparently, the menu changes by season. Anything handheld, burgers, sandwiches, etc stopped being served at 4pm.
No parking. We had to find parking and walk. Just be prepared.
The pizza was excellent. The poutine was okay. Service was good but hard to communicate due to the incredibly loud music.

Had an awesome Black Burguer w one of the local IPAs they offer on tap. Their pizza is something else too, the best one in the mountain for sure. Great spot to stop by and have food during your ski day

What a great place to wind down after a long day on the slopes! Our ski club usually meets here during our annual Snowshoe trip, and the staff are always very accommodating. The kitchen makes excellent appetizer platters for our group, and the bar staff always help coordinate drink tickets on their busiest nights. The live music is great, but it often gets crowded at night and is pretty noisy at times.

Service was the worst. People walking out. Employees complaining. Dirty looks from the woman behind the bar and she literally threw the menus on the table at my husband and I and said nothing and walked away. Our waitress with the short hair was nice but the heavy set African American woman behind the bar was nothing but nasty to everyone!!! Definitely do not recommend.

It’s pretty clear from our experience and the most recent reviews that this place is a dumpster fire. Just miserable servers trying to make your day miserable as well. I actually felt bad for them even as they were being rude. The village restaurants are great though! Our favorite was foxfire

One of the only restaurants that serve breakfast on snowshoe mountain. Very limited menu but all 5 items was good.

Wonderful experience- great place to eat lunch or dinner, hang out and listen to music, and watch skiers or bikers go down the runs /trails. Best poutine fries ever! Pizza, salads, sandwiches- everything is delicious and served quick. The wait staff is unbelievably friendly. If you haven’t been to Tuque’s (or The Pizza Slice) you don’t know what you’re missing.

Awesome place to be. If you are coming to Snowshoe, you have to stop at Tuque’s bar and grill. It is owned by the Corduroy Inn. Great atmosphere and even greater memories.
