Moving on, we couldn’t stop ordering the biscuits! So good especially with the honey they make/ have here !!! Mhm mhm mhm! Chicken & waffles! A must grab! My husband had the spicy chicken & waffle while I had the regular!
The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor seating area, which is nice, especially in the cooler months when you can enjoy your meal outside.
Ordered a couple of coffees, and when we asked the lady for some creamer (twice) she came back with a pack of sweetener. Hence the speculation.
Then, our appetizers came out about 5min before our plates and silverware arrived, which we had to ask for. Luckily, we didn’t need them for the fried pickles, but everything else just sat there untouched meanwhile. All good after that.
The food was ok. It looked great but fell flat. I had the chicken and waffles, which was nothing special.
The fried pickles were great, thin and crispy chips. The brussel sprouts were great. Fried green tomatoes were bleh.
This place was recommended by a friend who had just gone the day before, so i had an expectation that it just didn’t hit.
