Reviews
There is construction directly next door, which made for somewhat difficult parking, which is not uncommon when going downtown. We enjoyed our visit!
The chicken from the chicken and waffles was fried well (crunchy but not greasy), tender, and flavorful. The sweet and spicy chicken had a nice kick without being overwhelming. I find waffles often overlooked in these types of dishes but here they were fluffy and slightly sweet, so they went perfect with the chicken. Also, the portions were fair for the price.
As for the experience, we didn’t have any complaints. We visited at ~1:30 PM on a Sunday. It was busy but there was only a 15-minute wait. Our server was friendly and attentive and our food was delivered very quickly.
I tried sweet and spicy waffles, it did not disappoint. It came with a side of maple syrup. The chicken was perfect and not overpowering the waffles.
My friends tried their famous fried green tomatoes & okra.
The service was welcoming and quick.
Their fancy ambience and menu is worth stopping by more than once
***As a side note, they have some of the best fried chicken in Indy as they brine it for 18 hours. Winner winner!!
