Our experience here was phenomenal (im writing this after leaving there 5 mins ago). The food was true southern comfort, from the Fried Okra to the Mississippi Mud Pie and everything in between. Every bite was delicious and there was so much flavor throughout. The atmosphere was calm and homely, like the southern charm you would expect, but what made it even more special was the laughter we heard from the staff. This really showed that they love their job and so happy to be there. I do want to shoutout our server TaVan, he was incredible. His kind heart and friendly approach to us was refreshing and honestly we were smiling every single time he came to our table. He went above and beyond for us to make sure we had everything we had ordered, even noticed that we had sauces missing before we asked. We could not have had a better experience there, and yes TaVan played a large part in that.

Thank you for making our belated valentines meal the perfect experience.

Our experience at Tupelo Honey Pittsburgh was excellent! The service was outstanding — our server was beyond words and truly deserves a promotion. The entire team was attentive, energetic, and made us feel so welcome.

The chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious, and the steak and eggs were very good. The grits were just okay, but the mimosa flight was refreshing and fun. The **biscuits with two different jams were an awesome starter so delicious!

And the sweet potato pancake was truly to die for.

My mother-in-love felt like a queen celebrating her birthday. Thank you, Tupelo Honey team, for such a warm and memorable dining.

The restaurant is beautiful inside with plenty of seating and a full bar.

My family and i came in for restaurant week. I didnt have any expectations, walking through the door. The green fried tomatoes and the banana pudding are why i chose to come here! The fried chicken ( that my sister ordered) and the sweet iced tea was some of the best that i’ve ever had. Those two items alone would bring me back. Along with the fact that we had the sweetest waitress ever.

Food, drink, and atmosphere are amazing.

Everything eat or drank was well crafted. Their “honey dust” flavor was infused into many of the menu items. I had the honey spicy fried chicken. It was juicy and had been marinated for 16 hours.

I also had a Bloody Mary that could have been its own meal!

Highly recommend the experience and making reservations before you visit.

The location is downtown Knoxville and offers lots to do before or after a meal.

This was my first time at Tupelo Honey, and the atmosphere alone is worth the visit—warm, welcoming, and full of Southern charm. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which were packed with flavor (the squeeze of lemon added a perfect touch), and the Mahi served with tomato soup and Brussels sprouts. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned, but the tomato soup stood out—rich, comforting, and delicious.
Highly recommend giving this place a try!

I wanted to attend the Steelers v. Cleveland Browns game so we drove all the way from Charlotte, NC to attend our first Steelers game!!! We were starving and wanted something good and close by the stadium and stopped by this spot!

We were able to make a reservation within minutes and once we arrived, were able to be seated within minutes. It was beautiful, all the black and yellow waiting for food and enjoying conversations.

Our waitress Emma was so sweet and ensured that we had everything we needed! I ordered the steak, eggs, crispy potatoes, but I wanted the grits also and she helped me make a great decision in ordering them also. My husband had the Chicken and Waffles and the sauce that came with it was amazing! Everything was great and when we return for another game, we are definitely visiting again!

After trying the delicious biscuits, the rest of our meal went downhill. The restaurant is within walking distance of the Monongahela Incline Lower Station. The space looks impressive and modern. Our server was friendly enough but not very efficient.

We ordered a sampling of the appetizers which were served to us at the same time. The lack of attention to detail first revealed itself in the ice cold and rock hard butter served with our biscuits. Our second round of sweet tea was not sweet. The fried pickles were mostly batter, the chips with pimento cheese was similar to what you would receive at a sporting event.

We found everything notwithstanding the biscuits to be basic and uninspired. And, after serving our food we didn’t see our server again until it was time for the check.

Overall; a lot of room for improvement.

Atmosphere is fun and lively. Probably would be a great place to go for a few drinks.

The food…just not good. I had the famous chicken tenders. The chicken inside was good but the breading was so overcooked and dry, with very little flavor. The fries were lukewarm and the green beans were watery and mushy. We also had shrimp and grits. The grits were good but the shrimp was flavorless. Maybe we ordered wrong, but those seem like their staple dishes.

The service – also not good. Our server never checked on us. We had to flag him down for drink refills, to order dessert, to get the bill. Just not great.

The food was delicious and I wish there was one closer to home. The meatloaf sauce was so delicious! Also the Old fashioned flight is a unique experience and very good. The chicken cock whiskey was a surprise favorite.
