Came here for a quick bite on our road trip and was pleasantly surprised. Food was just what we were looking for after a long drive. We ate in the dining room which definitely could use some TLC, but we couldn’t have really asked for more. My burger was good and my family enjoyed their French dips.

Completely empty dining area, bar may have a had a few patrons but as it was before 2 couldn’t have been too busy. Waited over 30 minutes for burgers . Service was minimal charge an extra 3 bucks for onion rings, fries were better

First off, I did NOT choose to eat here. I had friends that wanted to meet, and they were already at Tumbleweeds.
I used to eat here when the previous owners still ran the place. The food was really good & I loved the Tumbleweed burger and breakfasts!
I’ve eaten here 3 times since current owners took over, and the food has been lousy every time.
Buns on hamburgers burnt black (not toasted), hamburger patty overcooked until it is black and dry, tater tots sooo overcooked that the outside is crispy/hard and the inside of the tot is empty (how does that even happen?)
I even phoned in an order one time, was told it will be ready in 15 minutes.
Showed up at Tumbleweeds 15 minutes later, paid for my order, and waited…25 minutes later I politely asked if my order would be done soon and was told “yes, couple more minutes”.
The restaurant was dead, so there was no reason to take so long.
Waited 15 more minutes, asked status of my order and was told they didn’t have an order for me…are you kidding? Then what did I just pay for??? Ridiculous!
55 minutes waiting and no food!
This time, I ordered a sweet ice tea, it must have had 1/3 of a cup of sugar in it, so sweet it was undrinkable.
Bacon cheese burger with fries – the bacon was so undercooked it looked RAW! Flimsy, not crispy at all, not browned, just gross.
My friend’s burger had the same raw bacon on it – we requested the bacon be re-made… They only brought us 2 pieces of bacon for 2 burgers…what??
Fries looked great, but really had no flavor – weird.
Ketchup didn’t help, way too strong of a vinegar taste.
Took way too long to get our simple order of a salad and burgers.
*The good news…found out that Tumbleweeds is getting new owners in August! YAY!

Had an excellent experience today! After a day out on the water my family and I stopped in for dinner before heading home. We had fast, friendly service. We shared a large pizza that was better than most pizza joints we go to. Lots of toppings and perfectly cooked. Would recommend to anyone in the area to give this place a try! We will definitely be returning upon our next visit.

The bartender said they always try to close before the young people and “yahoos” come by… This was at 10:30pm on a saturday… Insane decision making for a business when those people they want to avoid are paying customers….

Staff is so kind & welcoming to these out of town guests! We even had a golf date with some new friends we made. The menu is good. Clean place to hang. There is a restaurant portion for everyone, a separate bar, outdoor beer garden area. Ample parking. (Golf carts too) pool tables, pull tabs, TV, etc. Thanks for the continued good times! Lee & Dion!
