If you’re in Santa Fe and craving authentic Indian food, this is definitely the place to try. The taste is outstanding, and you can truly feel the chef’s passion in every dish. His attention to detail, dedication to cooking, and commitment to not using harmful ingredients really set this place apart.

The food is flavorful, well-balanced, and made with care. Service was excellent as well—friendly and welcoming. We definitely need more chefs like him who cook from the heart. Great food, great service, and a memorable experience overall. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best Indian I’ve had in New Mexico by a country mile! Affordable and well presented.

Excellent, fresh and aromatic spices, well blended and rich without too much fats.

Service was also superb, very much appreciated talking to Viru (Virendra), the rest of the staff were courteous and friendly as well.

We will certainly be back to try more of the chutneys!

I finally made it to Tulsi and it was delicious. The flavors burst, the aroma seductive, and with each bite I could feel the care and thought that went into each dish. We tried a couple of recommended appetizers and three main dishes. Each one held court. Completely satisfied but wanting to end the meal with something sweet, we opted to share the mango sorbet. Fresh, authentic and the kind of food that lets you know, this is quality. Robert our server, was knowledgeable, attentive and just the right amount of fun. I am excited to add another restaurant to my trusted list. If you haven’t gone, go. You will be glad you did!

Tulsi is really a fine Indian restaurant. food was excellent – tasty but very balanced. it has some unique dishes – like the crispy spinach mango appetizer. both desserts that we tried (pistachio kulfi and ras malai) were made in-house and very delicious. I took down one star because of store-bought naan/breads, instead of from their own naan oven. will surely recommend to anyone who appreciates nice balanced taste Indian food.

Tulsi is a true gem in Santa Fe! We had an incredible dinner featuring the fried okra, butter chicken, and Baingan Bhartha. Every dish was packed with layers of wonderful flavor—you can tell there is a lot of heart in this kitchen.
The highlight of the night was Chef Paddy Rawal personally coming by our table to check on us. It’s clear he cares deeply about the guest experience. The entire staff was super friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Indian cuisine with a personal touch, this is the place!

One of those rare experiences you feel as if you are in an old friend’s home instead of a restaurant. The food was made with such love and spice – it was truly perfect after a difficult day of work. The waitress was kind, personable, and helpful. I hope this fantastic restaurant changes absolutely nothing. I will return. And order “Hell Heat” each time.

Thanks for such a wonderful and needed experience Tulsi team!!

UPDATE: Third time and just as amazing as the prior two times. Stephanie is a wonderful waitress and I really appreciate this spot

Absolutely amazing!! Everything we ate was delicious and so worth it. The butter chicken is my favorite dish and the naan completed it. From the food to the service, this place satisfies me very much. Highly recommended!:)

Omg it is exactly what we needed on a cloudy Saturday evening. For appetizers we ordered the okra with pico de gallo! Wonderfully crisp! And fresh!

For mains we ordered Saag paneer! My all-time favorite! My husband ordered butter chicken and we had to say it is the best Indian food in Santa Fe. Having both travelled in India!

Our waitress was Steph and she was professional and took great care of us. Thank you Steph!

If you are looking for authentic Indian food, then this is the place in entire United States! I have not eaten anything better in the last 25 years that I have lived here:) my husband visited this restaurant twice in 3 days as we were visiting Santa Fe this summer. Absolutely love the friendly atmosphere, beautiful clean restaurant but most of all food that steal your heart away! The chef even makes desserts from scratch. I loved the pistachio ice cream. We ordered a creative dish- salmon tandoori which was truly new to my pallete and I will not have salmon any other way again:) served with ghee rice, and green beans. Amritsari chole was a success too. You must visit this place!

We’ve been here a few times. Only for lunch, though, so I can’t comment on dinner. Our lunches have been absolutely amazing! We love being able to tailor the spice level. The serving sizes are generous – each entree is enough for two meals.
Although we have tried several dishes, we come back time and again to our two favorites – butter chicken for one of us and green curry tofu for the other. That eggplant in the curry is outstanding!
Service is pleasant and quick. Chef also stops by the table regularly. The staff is so nice and helpful.
We are able to walk to Tulsi, but there seems to be plenty of parking – a bonus in downtown SF.
