For an old world experience within driving distance, look no farther than Tulipan. Workers were accommodating, cheerful, and helpful with our questions. The pastry- need I say any more? Just try them. Now if they only served pavlova yet!

If you’re looking for one of the best coffee shops in Wooster, Tulipán Pastry and Coffee Shop is a must-visit. Right in downtown Wooster, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect for busy parents, local professionals, or anyone who just wants a quiet place to reset with great coffee.

The coffee drinks are consistently excellent, and the pastries are incredible — you can tell everything is made with care and tradition. It’s not just another café… it really feels like a true local gathering spot for the Wooster community.

I love supporting local family-owned businesses, and Tulipán is exactly the kind of downtown Wooster coffee shop that makes this town special. If you want amazing coffee, authentic pastries, and friendly service, this is one of the top places to stop in Wooster, Ohio.

Highly recommend checking them out if you’re searching for a great local coffee shop near the Wooster square.

Adorable little Hungarian bakery and shop for coffees, pastries, cakes, etc. I was recommended this spot by several locals for a sweet treat and coffee. I will admit I did come about 30 minutes before close, so the staff did seem rushed and a little bothered, however, they did offer several recommendations for pastries and coffees. I had an apricot Hungarian tea biscuit (sans tea) it was fruity, nutty, and just a hint of sweetness. Exactly what I was looking for as I don’t like overly sweet. I ordered a cold brew with lavender and coconut syrup with oat milk, which was also very good. They have such a large collection of syrups for the coffees I was very impressed! They are known for coffee flights as well but I didn’t order a flight since it was so close to closing but locals mentioned their flights are very unique and delicious. Ambiance was 10/10, very cute and quaint European style space with great lighting and excellent for working or studying. Highly recommend! I will certainly be back so that I can spend more time in the coffee shop.

I had to be in Wooster for something and stopped by this place randomly. I didn’t know that this would become my favorite coffee shop in Ohio! This gave me a sense of nostalgia from when I went to Italy two years ago.. their pastries and coffee are AMAZING. I plan to take the trip to treat myself once a month—it’s so good. Wish they had a location closer to my home.

Everything was wonderful. A great selection of coffee flights that can be served either hot or iced. The pastry I had was excellent and tasted as fresh baked as could be. A good amount of seating inside and outside.
I was a little cold sitting at the furthest table back inside but that isn’t a criticism just a note if you are eating in.

The bathroom was very clean and well stocked. I would absolutely stop by again when in the area.

Wow. Just wow. I had the mushroom and homemade dumpling soup and I can say handsdown it was the BEST soup I’ve ever ordered in my life. Mouth watering. The coffee was also ridiculously smooth and well priced. Staff was friendly and patient when my husband had an issue with his card working.
