We enjoyed the wine selection and atmosphere, but our experience was overshadowed by unprofessional service at the bar. When it came time to pay, the Sommelier made rude comments because we didn’t tip immediately – even though we planned to leave our tip at the table afterwards. She continued making comments to other customers, which felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. Feedback is important, and I hope management addresses this so future guests feel welcomed rather than judged.

I really like this wine bar/shop with its courteous and friendly service.
I wish I had more time to do one of the wine tastings flights … but I didn’t, so I settled for buying, for home use , a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc white wines and a bottle of one of their red wines that I enjoyed with friends that I I was visiting in the area!
I’m definitely going back for more on my next visit to the area.

I came here to buy a bottle of wine to go with sone cheese I bought from village cheese down the block. I went in with my wife and 3 little kids. As we walked in, I tried to joke with the girl behind the counter, saying:”do you have kids cups for tastings?”. She quickly said yes and darted inro the back, returning with kids cups and poured tasting for all 3 of my kids. My joke backfired on me, they have an alcohol free grape juice for kids and were very kid friendly. Kristen, I later learned her name was extremely friendly and especially patient with the kids. She’s also very knowledgeable about LI wines and the Roanoke and Wolffer collection they sell- yes, they sell Wolffer! Knowledgeable local staff and great local wine. Faster and more convenient than going to a winery.

This is the second location for Roanoke Vineyards, it’s more like a cellar on Love lane. We still received members discounts at this location.
I highly recommend it if you enjoy walking around various shops and stores on the block.

This place is amazing! Kathryn and her colleague George made us feel at home, despite it being a busy Labor Day weekend. We got a full description of each wine we tried (6 different glasses) and feel like the quality here compares favorably to those in more “well known” wine regions. Also, make sure to try the local popcorn, as it is incredible

This almost vin garage is heads above others in the area, and you’re treated to a real wine tasting experience where others are a more commercial venture (just for tasting) rather than a real gem-finding mission. The selection is relatively small but you can clearly taste the difference in quality.

I’ve been out to Roanoke’s wine bar in the past and it’s always a treat. The sommeliers are always so friendly and quite knowledgeable giving us a description of our wine as we move through our flight, but I think the most enjoyable part of a visit here is how the intimacy of this small venue always leads to conversation and shared stories with fellow wine tasters here making for memorable visits.

This is one cozy spot on Love Lane to enjoy a superb glass of wine, learn something about the latest release and upcoming events at the nearby vineyards and even squeeze in a game of Scrabble between wine tastings. A most delightful spot to relax a joy your favorite wine.
