Amazing! The Thai beer is so light and delicious! I had the drunken noodles and spring rolls. Will definitely be back. Very fresh. Nice and quiet atmosphere.

Amazing Thai food. The Tom kha tells me how authentic a thai place is. Not the pad thai nor the curry. They knocked it off the park with this. Amazing food. I had the Tuk Tuk Fried Rice. Generous portions! My friend had the yellow curry and she sang praises constantly! Keep it up. MUST RECOMMEND.

While in town visiting with friends and family, we stopped in for lunch after receiving a recommendation.
This was an excellent recommendation! It’s amazing to me to see the variety of food in Elizabeth City now. When I lived in the area that was not the case.
The parking lot is a bit small but there’s room to likely paint some more lines so hopefully that’s future planning.
My serving of chicken pad Thai was so large that I took leftovers with me to my hotel for dinner. The crab lagoons (not a typo!) were very good. They tasted like the crisp wonton crackers with cream cheese inside.
I also ordered a Thai iced tea that was really well made. Others at the table tried the beef drunken noodles, the ginger, perfect chicken, and the sesame chicken. Everything was well enjoyed including a side of spring rolls.
Will definitely come back the next time I’m in the area. Our service was also spot on.
One funny note is that the mirror in the women’s restroom is really high up LOL if you were under 5 ft tall you will not see yourself.

This was our first, but certainly not our last visit at Tuk Tuk Thai. We really enjoyed our lunch. We ordered both fried and streamed rolls and shared the shrimp pad thai entree, along with a side of steamed veggies! The food came out quickly, and it was cooked perfectly! Service was spot on! We were treated very warmly!

This restaurant is quaint, homestyle and delicious. The food is traditional but the cook is flexible. The dishes are filled with love. It is a family owned establishment that is local and uses a lot of local fresh ingredients. The owners are so very pleasant.

Everyone, you must try this. Don’t let the older looking building keep you from trying some of the best food in Elizabeth City. Don’t judge a book by its cover. These people really go over the top to surve us authentic dishes. The ingredients is imported for nutrients and flavor. Hats off to all of the staff at Tuk Tuk Thai Restaurant . Amazing job!!!!

Advertised open hours were 830 closing. We seated at 8 o’clock knew what we wanted to order and we’re ready the minute we sat down. We were told immediately after placing our order that the kitchen was closing.. Our waitress then told us that she was not rushing us out, but her boss told her that she had to vacuum. This was at 8:10. If we had been told that they were going to be closing up and cleaning, we would have been totally OK with coming back another time, but, if you’re going to take my money and my order, I should be able to have the same dining experience as anyone who comes in anytime. Got my food to go. Didn’t need it and I will not be back. Every time I am in Elizabeth city we try to come in to support local businesses but being treated like an inconvenience and being cleaned around while you are trying to eat is really unpleasant. Again would’ve been happy if they had said they were only taking to go orders and if they had let us know that they were going to start closing down the restaurant 30 minutes before their advertise closing time then we would have chosen to go elsewhere. There’s a reason for advertised hours, and also last seating could have been noted in their advertised hours or given to us verbally when we walked in more than 30 minutes before their advertised closing time. it’s a good thing that we did not need to use the restrooms because they were already cleaned and closed when we were seated
