I LOVE having Afternoon tea at Lucille. I have been here for tea about 4 times and each time is just lovely! The food, service and atmosphere are great! I went this past weekend for the Wicked tea and it was amazing again. I highly recommend it!

As one of Drury Lane’s in-house seasonal musicians, I might be a little biased because I’ve been coming to Drury Lane/Lucille since I was 12 years old, but this place is MAGIC. Ambiance is gorgeous, staff makes you feel like family, food is delicious, and events here are carefully crafted to be oh so special. Lucille at Drury Lane is a place that everyone should experience, whether that’s after one of their amazing shows or for a standalone event (especially for Holiday Tea!)! Can’t wait to be back sometime!

All you can eat brunch at the Drury lane is not the same..I remember it being the premier brunch place in the Chicagoland area and it had so many different food choices and options.. we paid $80 each.. it just isn’t worth it anymore.. the food selections are down to almost half of what I remember.. eh no thanks won’t be back all we have are the memories of a once great time and experience

We went here because it would be convenient for 6 people to meet up. 3 of us had the chicken pot pie. It was inedible for all 3 of us. I’m not sure what that flavor was, but it did NOT go in a chicken pot pie! Cumin? Another person had the steak. It looked like a burger from McDonald’s. It was so thin. Actually, McDonald’s would have been better because this ‘steak’ was full of fat. 4 of us left hungry. The other two had the fish and both said it was ok. Ok, not good, just ok.

We dined for lunch pre Mermaid show. Ordered cauliflower, soup, Brussels salad, Caesar salad trio crusted filet and ice cream trolley bar. Service was excellent! Atmosphere was decorated for the holidays! Food delicious and well done play. Loved the vocals and costumes! Valeted for convenience! Very enjoyable!

Do NOT waste your money. We’ve gone to high tea numerous times and I’m not sure why because it disappoints every time. This weekend we went and the service was awful. We had a 1:15 reservation and they weren’t even ready until 1:50. Then when we sat the server was slow and the hot cocoa was lukewarm. The food was just ok. The menu didn’t match what was served to us at all. Last year we also attended a KIDS MUSICAL in which a transvestite was in the cast and was sexually promiscuous. It wasn’t a drag show it was a musical. We complained and the manager yelled at us. This place sucks and has gone downhill fast.

What is going on with this place? It is still as lovely as ever-beautiful, well-maintained dining rooms, lobby and theater, but the food, beverages and service have all gone downhill. We were there for a small banquet, about 50 guests, preshow, and it took them over an hour to get drinks to our table. And when they came, it was like an amateur, not a bartender made them. I asked for rose and got white wine. They couldn’t make an aperol spritz. Other drinks were in the wrong glasses. The food was just so so. Lukewarm and underseasoned. Not terrible, but not great. But bringing your first drink at the end of the meal, and having it be wrong just ruined it for me. The show, btw, was excellent.

“TEA” at the Lucille was the most underwhelming, DISAPPOINTING experience ever! . We were served a variety of four petite sandwiches on hard, dried out bread obviously made 24-48 hours in advance❗️The scones and desserts appeared to come right out of a box! Definitely NOT made by a pastry chef on site!
The holiday decor and our server were the best part of the whole experience! I could have put that $82 to much better use elsewhere . Never again

We went for the first time for a holiday dinner the service was great or waitress was great but the food was a Two at the most . The Caesar salad had brown pieces of lettuce, the beef wellington was extremely under done . The pasta dish was watery. The French onion soup I can make better at home . We’re really looking forward to a holiday dinner. The atmosphere was great . Our waitress was great but very disappointed in the food .

We went for afternoon tea on Dec 26th. It is about $100 a person with gratuity add taxes. We had 10 people including 3 children. There were no instructions when we first entered on how to check in. We arrived early for service around 1pm for 130 start to take pictures and enjoy the ambiance. The check in staff wasn’t helpful and they didn’t actually have a table to fit the amount of us, we ended up moving tables ourselves and making due. Staff was so slow. We didn’t get any food until 245!! We were starving and the children were hangry. They also forgot to bring the additional orders of tea and the actual tea list was much reduced from the list online I would never go back for the amount we paid. Maybe it’s better for the buffet but today was disappointing and a waste of time, effort, and money
