Now, about the acrual place! It was packed, yet very organized. There was a solid line of people and most tables tables were occupied, yet the person taking the order was extremely nice and all our food turned out great. Tucker’s is definitely the best place for a lettuce wrapped burger, as they give you massive slices of lettuce and actually wrap the burger.
Would definitely recommend this location.
A great looking burger and chicken sandwich, just not quite sure if it’s worth it. Chicken had a great fry to it, but a bit bland. Burger was good, until we burped it up all evening. Milkshake was a bit small, and.. Heavy on the milk Sweet tea was sweet but unfortunately just sugar water, with no flavor we could find. Tasty buns, interesting selection, but a few issues that leave them lacking for me.
If you’re an onion burger fan it’s worth trying out, hopefully you’ll have a better run of it.
Fast, friendly service despite it being so busy on a Saturday afternoon. A few too many onions for my wife but perfect for me.
We split a fries and it was just right.
Like the use of the bag as they order sheet. Made ordering easy and is so functional on the order confirmation and then the fulfillment end too.
Overall, a great experience.
Highly recommend.
I don’t like greasy slimy grilled onions on a burger, period. My wife had to try it though. We split a generous single order of fries. They appeared to be fresh, thinly sliced potatoes. They were good. One order is enough for two people. My wife had the single with cheese, loaded. For me a fried chicken sandwich, the Tucker’s Clucker. You can’t complain about the size of the sandwiches. A big loaded burger with at least a 1/3-pound beef patty, maybe more. The crispy chicken breast wasn’t small either. It stuck out from the large bun.
It didn’t take long for the bun on my wife’s burger to melt. In the middle of a big bite, the well lubricated patty slipped out on to the paper sack. I knew that was coming!
So anyway, she liked the burger. I thought the chicken sandwich was fair.
Order at the counter. Your name is called. Pick up your order. Everything is served to go, in your choice of a paper sack or a paper bag. ????
Been there, done that.
Finally I got to taste the double onion burger with cheese. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled jalapenos, ketchup, mayo, mustard and grilled onions. The homemade lemonade was ok. Loved the flavor of the burger and how it was cooked with slight char to the patty. The seasoning was appropriate. The burger is heavy too with all toppings (around 1/2 lb). The only downside is the price. It is super-expensive when you compare with burgers at other chain restaurants. For eg: Fat guys has a similar double burger with more toppings and slightly better flavor for just $8.85. If Tucker’s double burger was offered for less than $9, I would say its an excellent burger. Still loved the experience and I may go there another time.
