Used to go every weekend for the longest time decided to go back this weekend new ppl working didnt feel the same but service was great the lady helped us and treated us well food tasted how I remembered great large portions fed 3 of us and took some to go next time hope to see familiar faces. Stopped here for dinner on our way to New Mexico. They brought out chips with a bunch of different salsas and queso. They were so good! I ordered a burrito and my order got messed up but they made me something else right away and were very attentive. Our server and everyone else was very friendly

First time to eat here at the lawton location and it was great!! The cheese dip and salsa was very good, chips nice and crisp. I ordered the beef Fajitas and the meat was flavored great , the most tender Fajitas I have eaten!! Beans and rice were good, but to be honest I really didn’t eat much of that because the portion of Fajitas meat was plenty!! My wife ordered the skinny stuffed Avocado plate . She said it was very good and took over half of it home. Our waitress was very nice and did a good job serving us. The building is a little old and dated , but don’t let that change your mind about eating there . Our meal was great !!!

I am sharing this review in hopes of receiving resolution regarding a recent DoorDash order from Tu Familia Mexican Restaurant that arrived incomplete (missing sour cream, guacamole, and extra tortillas that were ordered and paid for).
After contacting the restaurant directly, I was told I would need to resolve the matter with DoorDash. However, DoorDash does not prepare or package the food—they only deliver what is provided to them. When I contacted DoorDash, they declined to issue a refund or credit, which has left me paying for items I did not receive.
I have enjoyed Tu Familia’s food in the past and truly want to continue supporting this business. However, customer service is just as important as the food itself. I am simply asking for accountability and a fair resolution for the missing items.
I hope management will review this situation and respond appropriately.

I walked into this place craving some authentic Mexican food, and it did not disappoint. The birria tacos were juicy and packed with flavor, and the queso fundido was the perfect cheesy companion. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with colorful decor that added to the charm. However, the wait time for our food was a bit longer than expected, which was a slight drawback. Overall, the delicious food and warm ambiance made it a worthwhile visit

Went in early for dinner, started to fill up as we were leaving. Service and atmosphere was great! I got the enchilada plate and my wife got the combination plate. We got a combination of salsas and caso and it was good.
