I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen and the pork belly buns. The ramen broth was delicious, the pork tender, and the boiled egg was perfectly cooked. The pork belly buns were great as well. The pork was crispy on the outside, but fell apart in your mouth, and had this amazing tangy sauce that I’ve never had before. The food was fast and the service was polite. I’m glad I checked this place out on my lunch break.

The flavor of the Ramen bowl we got was delicious….but a bit overpriced for what is provided. We too were basically told if you don’t pay the 15% gratuity, you gotta take it to go. Terrible customer service. I like the rustic designs, but with a bit better atmosphere and friendlier service, this place could do well.
My hubby and I ended up eating in the back of our trunk that day. Good thing it was a nice day!

Okay so this review has two parts, The food and the price. The food truly was delicious and filling. I was just able to finish my bowl but my 8-year-old daughter was not.
I grew up with a good friend being from Laos and he taught me how to make great gourmet ramen. I’ve been hoping for a ramen house to open near us and was excited to give this place a try. I love spicy food and the spicy miso did not disappoint. My daughter got the beef and spinach and she loved it. We split an order of bun (not to be confused with Vietnamese bun) which has a fun cloud like texture. The eggs we’re perfectly soft-boiled and had a velvety smooth texture. The beef was very flavorful and practically melted in your mouth.
That said, for two dishes and an appetizer it cost me over $60 plus a sub 16oz plastic glass of Thai iced tea was $6. The “King and I” Downtown Milwaukee charges $3. They are also charging a “minimum” 15% fee for eating in their establishment and 20% for groups larger than five. My home is 15 minutes away so take out isn’t really an option. The place was completely empty which I attribute to the high prices, additional fees and the only mask wearing in the area…. But not because of the food.
I do hope they read this and understand that I enjoyed their food and I will definitely eat there again. But at that price, I will only come on my own or for special occasions for my kids who love ramen like I do. Wish them the best of luck .

They were out of duck and vegetables, the flavor was meh, and the broth portion was small. The pork belly buns were served cold and overly drenched in hoisin sauce. Overall, the food was overpriced for the quality and quantity. Watch out for the doorhandle of the bathroom. They like to body check you!

Wow what a terrible waste of money. I paid $17 for a medium poke bowl. First the rice was rock hard and I couldn’t eat it, it had very few pieces of salmon & tuna, and it was missing the spicy crab. It was such little food and didn’t taste good either. If you’re wanting a better poke experience go to Fresh Fin or anywhere else!

My boyfriend and I have been looking for Poke nearby and we just happen to see this place driving by one day. It was very empty but we couldn’t understand why because it was so good! It seemed like most everything was made from scratch. We ordered the Rainbow Bowl, Spicy Bowl, matcha bubble tea and watermelon bubble tea. The environment was appealing, the food was awesome, and the service was warm and welcoming.

This is by far the best ramen I have ever had. Very hot and fresh, the service was amazing and the place was very clean. Fresh and delicious! This is a small business and they need more attention. I will be coming back for sure!
Update: I came back after not being there for a little bit. The food was delightful like always. Though a bit expensive, it is totally worth it. Totally recommend there ramen and boba tea! Super good, and the owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Totally coming back.

My friend and I wanted ramen. However when we entered the place, it was so dirty. The floor wasn’t mopped there was an unpleasant coming from the toilet. When we tried to cancel our order because we couldn’t stomach to sit there, the guy said he can’t cancel because he already started it. I really wish you keep an ambience and atmosphere for people to enjoy the food. Clean the place and have some good manners is that too much to ask. I do not recommend eating here!!!

First time here. Was driving around with my daughter looking for a late lunch and saw the sign. The menu is quite extensive and varied which we both appreciated. The food came quickly though when we sat down we were the only ones there. We both ordered ramen and were pleased at the portions and that it was not overwhelmingly salty as some ramen can be. The only real downside was an odor like the septic/sewer system was not properly vented and the smell was coming back in. It was most noticable sitting by the restrooms though my daughter said she could not smell it.
The dining room is sparse with a section roped off with some kids toys and extra tables in it. Not really a place to sit and enjoy eating, but if someone had brought it home for me as to-go I likely would have rated this higher. We will be back!

My husband and I discovered this place while driving down capital. We love how delicious the ramen is! The staff is always very friendly and to go orders are always easy to pick up!
