Tsunami never disappoints. The sushi is always fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. What really made this visit stand out was our server, Luke. He was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and made thoughtful recommendations that were spot on. His energy elevated the whole experience. Excellent food, excellent service.

Tsunami? -More like GARBAGE! This place was so bad. Floors, tables and seats were dirty. Waited for 10 min until staff greeted us for seating. Food was overpriced with small portions. Waiter was unbelievably rude to our family. This is not good the food was unable to finish. Dry hard rice , nothing was fresh. Dont even get me started on the mess in the bathrooms. Overall, AWFUL place. Go to J&C house if you want to eat asian cuisine.

Really nice sushi place! I think my favorite parts were honestly the decorations and ambience of the place. We ordered the golden and something else with lemon on top — either way, both were really good. Golden was more savory, and the other one was more citrusy, I think they were a good combo.
The service was very friendly! Not necessarily a standout sushi place, but it’s a decent place to go.

Great sushi place located in the South Jordan river bottoms.
Fresh made sushi rolls and a great selection of seafood and other dishes.
A tad on the fancy side .. and popular for local business people at lunch.
Servers are friendly. Service is above average.
Food is made fresh and served hot .. with fancy presentation.
Somewhat pricey .. definitely not your typical lunch spot.

Tsunami’s food is always 10/10 everything is super consistent, taste good, and the waitress was super nice! the only con is the south jordan location. In lehi, it’s more romantic environment and “fine dining” lighting. In south jordan, the atmosphere just wasn’t great and it was a little disappointing:(. for how much you pay, you want comfortable seating, a non wobbly table, and be able to hear your friends at the table. Id recommend this location if it was for lunch and not a busy time.

Would be 5 stars but the Tsunami roll was meh – rice was kinda crunchy, the soft shell crab very disappointing, I envisioned more of a spider roll like roll, it under whelmed. However, the rest of the meal was very good, excellent service – she was on her game.

We dined in tonight at the sushi bar, Kai was great and served great food, if this was for him alone, it’d be a five star review.
The wait service was however the reason the for review. We waited longer for our drinks than for our sushi, in the midst of a dinner rush. That should tell the story in itself, but we waited over 20 minutes for even the check. We would recommend experiencing the sushi bar! But we cannot reasonably recommend the wait for drinks and appetizers and dessert. We probably would have ordered more if we knew we’d get it before we finished eating.

This place was amazing, the sushi flavors were expertly balanced, and the shrimp poppers almost melt in your mouth, the aoili dipping sauce was so delicious. The server we had, her name is Patty was so attentive, my glass was never empty and she asked us if we had any food allergies which I highly appreciated. Since I’m allergic to ginger, odd I know. She recommended a dessert and oh my God I’m going to be dreaming about that coconut ice cream and fried banana dessert for the rest of my life. 10/10 we will be back with more mouths to taste their delicious food.

Such a wonderful restaurant! The sushi is fresh and drool-worthy, and service is awesome. Luke was our waiter, and he made our night! He gave delicious recommendations that we loved, took meticulously good care of us, made us laugh, and truly made our evening. This was the best experience I’ve ever had at Tsunami. If I were you, I’d ask for Luke specifically and listen to what he has to say.

Terrible Experience and even worse food. I will NEVER come back again. Completely rude staff, dirty environment, and disgusting food. I wouldn’t even call it “food” it was more like plastic garbage. Never again. If you want a nice sit down for sushi go to red 88, also in sojo.
