A long established restaurant with very tasty food in South Boulder. The lunch menu is good value for money with a soup and egg roll added to your meal.
I had Sichuan beef and really liked it.

We ordered to go. I’m disappointed at how the food looks, rice doesn’t have any color or much taste as well as the noodles. Maybe I’ll try the buffet next time and see how it goes.

My family and friends love this place :). The vegan options are very tasty and our all-time favorite is the sesame soy chicken lunch combo. The all-vegan buffet on Monday evenings includes soups, salads, rice, noodles, egg rolls, sesame balls, and many tofu and soy beef/chicken entrees. Definitely worth the drive from Broomfield/Denver!

We ordered Szechuan Eggplant & Thai Basil Shrimp, and it was all very good. The fried rice was tasty also. I was out of the habit of going there, but I’ll keep it up now! Love to support a local business.

This place is fine. It is the classic Chinese takeout that you want to eat, but it’s just a lot more expensive than other places. Takeout for 2 people was 42+ dollars, their vegan dinner buffet is 26 dollars per person. I get understand that being in that certain location gets expensive, and that buying from a business in boulder means paying more for the same result. I will say that I put in my order and less than 2 minutes later the food was done.

As a Vegetarian, I love the “all vegan” dinner buffet at Tsing Tao Restaurant. There are so many delicious items to choose from! The vegan buffet is only offered twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays starting at 5:00 PM. Besides Chinese dishes, they also have some other Asian dishes on the buffet, like Thai Basil Eggplant with Tofu n Broccoli, Mongolian “Plant-based Vegan Beef” w/sliced peppers n onions, and Vegetable Tempura, just to name a few. All of these dishes are my favorites. Some of my other favorites are Szechuan Eggplant with Tofu, the Sautéed Bok Choy, Vegan Sesame Balls filled with a lightly sweet bean paste, Fresh Rice Paper Spring Rolls, and the Sautéed String Beans. The Peanut Sauce is the best I have ever had, and I have tried many versions of peanut sauce in my lifetime… there is a nice light coconut taste to it. The owners are very conscious when preparing their vegan dishes, so I feel confident that there is no animal/meat/seafood cross contamination. If the Buffet is not your thing, they also have an extensive vegetarian section and an extensive vegan section on their menu. If you’re looking for the best Chinese Vegan and Vegetarian food in Boulder County, I highly recommend Tsing Tao Restaurant… James DC

Vegan and non-vegan family members and all loved it. If you’re vegan, they have a separate extensive vegan menu. If you can, go on Monday or Thursday night for their vegan buffet ($22). All of my pics are of that buffet! Trust me, just go.

Surprised to find this spot after so many years of living here. Really good if you know what to order. Very fresh to the point where the vegetables are crisp and delicious. Walnut shrimp, orange chicken, fried rice all great. Very nice service team as well. Support this place.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Boulder! If you are vegan you have to try this place! And if you are not vegan you also won’t be disappointed. They have a fully vegan buffet every Monday and Thursday for dinner and the variety of dishes and the flavors are amazing! This place is family owned and all the staff is so sweet. Definitely recommend checking this place out

We have eaten here before and their food is very good, so I was eager to have their lunch buffet. Unfortunately we didn’t get there until about 2:00pm and the food that was out had obviously been out for a couple hours. I still had the buffet but because of the freshness it wasn’t great. It was ok but not what it should have been. I think if they discounted the buffet after the lunch rush is over, that would be ok, but you still pay full price for food that has been sitting out for too long. It’s a good restaurant, but if you want the buffet, go early.
