My husband took me here for a late lunch on Saturday. The atmosphere was so chill. The music was just right, great for the vibe. Our server was Maria. She was very pleasant and helpful throughout our visit. I ordered the Parmesan crusted cheese burger with bacon. My husband ordered the 2 piece catfish breakfast. His food was really good. My burger was decent. I would definitely go back and try something different. My one wish is for a more refined menu. It took us forever to figure out what we wanted because there are so many options. Oh, we loved the fried green tomatoes that we shared as an appetizer.

Food was nasty, salmon patties was so hard, never had brown grits, potatoes was hard and chewy, biscuits was hard as bricks. To top it off the so called chef, came out with an attitude because we were complaining about the food he served. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!

Fried green tomatoes and biscuits and gravy are really excellent, and the service can be a little confusing, so just make sure if you’re being seated to ask how you order because I’m patient so it was cool for me but some people not able. The cocktail was ok. I didn’t have a bad experience it was cool. I would return here without a doubt.

Grits! Grits! Grits! I had the absolute best restaurant grits that I have ever had. First off let’s start with the fact that they were hot…you know hot like you just made them at home and sat down to eat them immediately. Secondly can I say how creamy they were…again just like you would make for yourself at home. And lastly, I did not have to add a ton of butter or sugar to my grits to make them flavorful. The salt and pepper vs. butter and sugar debate is not open for discussion. Let’s stay focused, lol. My point is just go, treat yourself to a delicious made to order meal.

My family and I recently visited Georgia for the first time, and we made a fantastic choice for our first official breakfast in the city. I found this gem on TikTok, and I can confidently say it exceeded all our expectations.

The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and incredibly inviting. The hostess greeted us promptly and seated us without delay, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. Our server, Michelle, was outstanding—truly the best. She was a shining light, attentive, and effortlessly guided us through the menu, especially with the elders in our group. Her knowledge about the food and her engaging personality truly enhanced our visit.

Now, let’s talk about the food! It was phenomenal. The seasoning was spot on, and the portions were generous. I had a delicious drink that complemented my meal perfectly. The deviled eggs topped with shrimp were so extraordinary that my family couldn’t resist ordering more to take home. In fact, the food was so impressive that Michelle shared our excitement with the owner/chef Mr. Kenny who came out to greet us personally. He was so kind and such a humble man.

We were thrilled with every aspect of our visit—the prices were reasonable, and the value we received was exceptional. So much so, that we returned the very next day for breakfast again!

A big thank you to Michelle for making this outing such a memorable experience. She embodied the essence of great customer service—something that’s hard to find—but she nailed it. We will be back for lunch!

And thank you for the pen!

Review Update:
I decided to give this place another try, and I’m really glad I did! The grits were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The salmon croquettes where nice and flavorful with a beautiful crust and eggs were also executed perfectly. It was a great option for an afternoon breakfast. I will be back for sure 🙂

This is a pretty solid option. I’m glad I got to try it, but certain things missed the mark for me.

I ordered a bacon omelet and boy did they mean bacon!!! It was about a half a pound of bacon wrapped in a very thin egg as you can see from the photos. I can see how some people might like that, but it wasn’t for me. I wanted to taste the egg in my omelet.

I also got a chicken biscuit. It was cooked well, nice and crispy, and the biscuit held up as well, but I’m used to being able to taste the seasoning on the chicken. It was bland… cheese or something to add more flavor was needed. It was just okay for me. I may try some other things on the menu, but I wouldn’t reorder anything I had.

Great looking restaurant. Server was good too. Food was just ok. Pancakes were overcooked, hard to cut through. Steak was cooked well though. Good taste.. Eggs overcooked. They did I guess what was expected.
