Absolutely phenomenal. Made to share plates and every one of them was great! We didn’t try the entree size plates. The cauliflower was exceptional, as well as the carrots and every other one. We shared 8 plates between 4 of us and we’re very full. We are trying the other restaurants in their group.

First time visiting, and it truly felt like stepping into a different world. I came on a Monday night around 7:45 PM and had booked my reservation ahead of time. As soon as I arrived, I was immediately seated. While all of the inside tables were full, every outdoor table was open, which made the space feel calm, relaxed, and unhurried.

The atmosphere was incredibly soothing. Candles were lit throughout the restaurant, and the scent in the air was absolutely amazing—warm, cozy, and inviting. Even the bathroom had candles and smelled wonderful, which I have to highlight because it’s honestly one of the top two best-smelling restaurant bathrooms I’ve ever experienced. That alone says a lot about the level of care and detail here.

I ordered a dry red wine produced in Sicily, and it was delicious. For food, I had the hush puppies and the crab fried rice—both were incredible. The hush puppies had such a fun and unique twist with the honey butter and smoked ham. The best way to eat them is to wrap the ham around the hush puppy with the butter like a little pig in a blanket—trust me, it’s next-level good.

The crab fried rice was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely amazing. Just a heads up that the portions are on the smaller side, so you may want to order a few items to feel fully satisfied.

Above all, the service made the night truly special. My waiter, Sean, was absolutely amazing. He was attentive, friendly, and perfectly balanced—checking in just the right amount and making me feel completely taken care of without ever hovering. He played a huge role in making the evening smooth, fun, and memorable.

This experience from start to finish is exactly why I’m giving this restaurant five stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered the smoked carrots and beat salad and the pork and beef dumplings. The salad was very smoky, so much so that it was like standing over a fire taste. Never had smoky yogurt before but if used correctly could have been a wonderful addition. The beats were sweet which was nice. The overall flavor of the salad was confusing, sometimes it was pleasant sometimes it was harsh and sometimes it had a good mouth feel. It was very confusing. The dumplings were dumplings, can’t really race about them as they reminded me of the frozen dumplings from Costco (don’t get me wrong I can eat those by the pound). The shiitake tempura was tasty like eating a high class french fry.
Service was very nice and polite, the dumplings just took forever to make, kind of ackward when sitting by yourself.

I absolutely love these smash burgers. They’re are melt in your mouth delicious. I usually get these when I’m sitting at the bar because I don’t think they make them for takeout. it is absolutely worth pulling up to the bar having a nice little cocktail and a smashburger also the strawberry margaritas are very delicious. I’ve been there numerous times ordered plenty of different items and they are always on point.

Phenomenal food. Can’t believe we just tried this recently. After friends told us it’s one of the best restaurants in SD, if not the best, we had to try and we were so glad we did. We did family style with four people and we all four thought it was excellent. We loved the little truffle pastas, rhe hamachi crudo, the pork belly, chashu brisket, and my god were the carrots incredible. Also enjoyed a couple desserts. Will be looking forward to going back.

Incredibly tasty meal for a night out in North Park. Loved all the recommendations that our server had to offer and really loved the appetizers and small plates as well as brownie tart dessert. Also loved the chill relaxed vibes on Sunday evening; it felt like a fancy dinner at home.

Clams The food is more a four and a half but you can’t give half stars. Food comes in dishes to share sort of tapas style. Really enjoyed the clams and the grilled bread to dip in the sauce. Very flavorful and sumptuous. We also got an angliotti That was really really good as well. The third dish we got was a brisket that had an Asian twist and was a bit too busy for our liking. The meat was definitely cooked well, but it could have done with about three or four less ingredients than it had. For me that good, it needed to be the star and it wasn’t.
Our server was excellent, and though we had a reservation for outside we were able to easily be seated inside. It was fun to watch the guys in the kitchen, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I definitely recommend to try at least once and see what you think.

Thought my food tasted burned. The top of the order “swordfish” looked fine. I continued to try and palate the meal as the restaurant had great reviews. I couldn’t finish the meal due to the overcooked and burnt taste I was getting. I flipped the fish over to find the fact that it had been charred. The same goes for the brisket. It’s was overcooked and burnt on areas, it was bitter and tasted like it was the last parts of meat they had. Couldn’t order a smash burger either unless I sat at the bar. I felt like I was labeled immediately for ordering a smash burger and confined to an area of the restaurant because they don’t allow people that that order burgers in the common area.

Okay so I have to say this place is good but not over the top. The food was good again not over the top. Though my brother liked his steak. Overall it was nice. Maybe try it again and try something else, and they require a reservation.

Overall 4.4/5

Food: smoked pork shoulder hash 4.6/5. Yummy. so much meat, delicious sauce, good portion.

Stuffed french toast 4.9/5: delicious! Would order this again. Forgot what it was stuffed with but it wasnt too soft and it was easy to cut and the apples and pecans went so well together. It wasnt too sweet. I would order this and be able to finish it, which i never say about sweet brunch dishes. My whole group loved it and were happy we started off with this dish.

We came 2 hours after opening and no sticky buns available, but the server started by describing it and making us sad we missed out. Lol.

Service 3/8.5: was quick in the beginning but after we got our food it slowed down and we didnt get enough water refills. Also the water cups are kinda small.

Ambiance is like a typical brunch place. Open kitchen concept so you see the hustle n bustle and it is kinda loud.

Parking is street parking only.

I Recommend this restaurant.
