This was my first time at this location and the outstanding service completely blew me away. We went without a reservation and were seated immediately on a Saturday evening and were luckily waited on by the best waitress I’ve ever had, Alexis! Not only was she extremely knowledgeable of the menu, but her suggestions turned a great meal into an extraordinary experience. From the appetizers to the main course, she guided my guest and I to the perfect meal. Our food was amazing, but her service was absolutely top notch and worthy of a 10-star review. It was an alright experience. Well, the food price doesn’t match the amount of food you should receive. I can go to another restaurant, pay the same amount and take home food to last me 3ish days. Also, my food looked like someone took some of it. I didn’t ask why it looked like that because of the meeting I was in however the price doesn’t match the quality or quantity you pay. I was quite disappointed. At least the appetizers were good.

Had a wonderful Birthday dinner for my wife tonight. Service was a combination of Stephen C and Kendall and was outstanding. Great table side chat but not too much and the drink and food service was perfect. We had the calamari and broiled seafood platter which we split and was sufficient for us both. The flavors were on point. Keep up the great work.

We had a big office Christmas dinner there and the food was okay the waitress was a nice lady but she did everything by herself and it took really really long time for anything to come out of the kitchen. Because they were trying to serve everybody my steak was cold and there was no butter to dip my lobster in. I had almost finished my dessert when finally I said please can I have my coffee. I think she was just overwhelmed but they should have had somebody helping her.

I had dinner at McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood and honestly, it was just okay. The food was average—nothing stood out or felt especially memorable for a place with such a reputation. Customer service was also just so-so; not terrible, but definitely not attentive or warm either. Overall, it didn’t live up to the hype, and I left feeling underwhelmed.

My hubby and I had a spectacular dining experience this evening. M&S is a long-time fav. We don’t have one at home, so we picked this place to celebrate my birthday. The food and atmosphere were to perfection. A special shout out to Alexis for creating a beautiful night for us. We highly recommend M&S – everything is delicious, but don’t leave without the shrimp rockefeller appetizer.

I ordered the spiced raspberry cooler at the bar. Not sugar free, they use syrup. But I asked the bartender what they use for the syrup she said its just sugar and water not high fructose corn syrup
I asked if there were any other ingredients she said no the rest was just puree from raspberries. I think yard house doesnt have any syrup but its alot pricier about almost double the price. It was about $6 here. I wish they had like a Stevia or sugar alcohol option.

August 2025 Update: I went in for happy hour. Ordered the burger. Asked if I could sub the fries for anything else. “Sure. Any of the sides”. I said ok, how about the Brussels sprouts. Check came … I asked $6 for the Brussels sprouts instead of the fries? “Yes sir”.
Hmmm .. did she tell me there would be an uncharge beforeand, No! I had asked for a salad and was willing to accept an uncharge… which they used to do for $4. Knowing that Lindsey didnt bother to tell me beforehand that there would be an uncharge
This place has lost the plot under the new manager (Amanda).
Give it a pass. Amanda does not know customer service, just like her predecessor… Johnathan.
Sure wish they would bring Thomas or Richard back.

I have been coming here for almost a decade and spent a lot of time in the bar at happy hour as well as the restaurant.
This update to my previous 5* review is meant to call attention to management.
The most recent happy hour menu food quality is poor. The flat bread pizza is a poor comparison to what you were serving a year ago. Four shrimp as an appetizer for $12 is a joke. The Korean chicken nuggets had no flavor. And the Ahi tuna is a pale comparison to what you served last year.
I have loved m&s. My wife and I enjoyed our dinner at the downtown location earlier this year.
The food today was “meh” .. not worth the price

Went here for a quick business lunch and was not disappointed. The service was excellent and the fact that we were asked if we were on a time deadline was helpful, as we were!! The food was excellent and the Poke Bowl was perfect. Turnaround on the order was very rapid yet the presentation and quality were not rushed. Ingredients were fresh and very tasty.
All in all a great lunch in less than 1 hr start to finish!!
