I ordered from Favor and received it delivered. I took a chance, and for the discounted price it was nice. It was the fried seafood combo basket. Instead of 3 catfish though, there were a few catfish strips. 3 butterfly shrimp, 4 hush puppies, and large spiral fries I’ve never seen before. I wouldn’t call any of it cajun in the sense that it tasted plain, no Cajun kick. But it was hot when it arrived and tasted good despite the lack of seasoning. I’ll say this place is good for the price and would recommend if you’re out and looking for something cheap and filling that’s not a fast food joint.

My second time ordering here and I am a little disappointed with the catfish. When ordering from Favor it says “catfish”, though I now realize they mean catfish “strips”. So, much less fish than what is expected. Everything else is great, but the fish is the main course and that needs to shine. I feel like I received scrap pieces.

I went there on a Friday night and order about 5lbs of crawfish with corns potato’s and a Lb of shrimp. Most of my crawfish was mushy, and broken apart maybe it’s because it was frozen, but a lot of them had a bad taste to them. The corn was super good but i feel like it was just way over price for corn and potato’s (they charge almost $4 a lb of corn and potato’s ) . The shrimp was good. Next time I might just come back for the shrimp, and to try their baskets. But as of now I’ll hold off on the crawfish..

Worst crawfish I ever had. Threw away last pound and went to another place. Tasted like cooked for hours with a weird chew and smell. The claws where completly unedible. I was so depressed after this experience. Just why. On the upside they are cheap, but so is catfood

I love love love this place. I stopped in last week while in town because I seen a huge sign with specials & thought I would give it a try. Best decision I made that day because they had chicken wing baskets on sale. It was $6 for 12 wings with a delicious side. (I got the corn.) I went back this week while back in Houston & was there on any fried basket for $6 day. Awesome deal… I got the fish & shrimp basket with two tasty sides. (I picked the fries & potatoes with a 16 oz drink for an extra $1.) The food was fresh & flavorful. Therefore, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a new seafood &/or chicken spot in south Houston because it is great.

Second time ordering from here. Picked up 10 pounds of crawfish 1 pound potatoes and 1 pound of corn. The crawfish half were flat tails not done enough very hard to peel the corn and potatoes were cold. It is usually a good place but this time it was horrible. My tab was $98 not a good way to spend money.

Today I ordered 3 pounds of crawfish on Favor, I was very hopeful because of the great reviews and the flavoring was amazing but I did notice that all of them were squishy and the meat was very rubbery, not sure if it was overcooked or what.

We saw the sign of boiled crawfish and jumbo shrimps and was intrigued. As we were debating what to get, Mr. D opened the window and talked to us about what they had and gave us a sample. The boiled crawfish was delicious and very spicy. The spicy boiled jumbo shrimp was even better! The wedge fries were tasty- crispy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside.
So we got 4 pounds of Crawfish and 1 pound of Shrimps. Since it was a Saturday and we bought 5lbs of boiled stuff, we got an extra 1 lb of boiled shrimp. Even though the crawfish was a bit small, it was absolutely delicious!
We came back the following Wednesday for a Buy-One Get-One Fried order. Since we love fried whole fish, we ordered it. It wasn’t battered or floured so it wasn’t crunchy on the outside but we tore through it within 10 minutes. There was a lot of fresh tasty meat on the fish and satisfied our cravings.
The gentleman at the window suggested we tried their other fried meals like fried chicken wings and fried catfish. The wings were dry and the catfish was small. The catfish I had that catfish tang. I’m not into it but others are.
Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the jumbo boiled shrimp were exceptional!
There are 2 metal picnic tables in front of the windows under a tent. There are 2 fans help during this heat wave. Get it to-go if you if you order the boiled shrimps and crawfish. Having flies distracting you from your enjoyment is not recommended.

Lady working there was so rude I called to see for the prices and if I was able to order through phone and said “no” with and attitude and hung up. Then I went and they gave me the wrong order and I called but they were about to close and said to come back at a convenient time never went cause I lost the receipt. So disappointed because I used to love there.

Can’t be the price on these crawfish. $5.97 when you buy 5lbs or more. Where they doing that? Spicy is too spicy for my liking prefer Mild but the crawfish are decent size. I ate here 3x- the 2nd time a lot of the smaller tails were mushy. Overall good flavor and great price point.
