It took me some time and three visits to settle on a 3 star rating.

Pretty darn good! We had the moist brisket plate with 2 sides. Brisket was definitely moist and had a good crust. Spicy BBQ sauce is a nice change to regular sauce. The cole slaw dressing was creamy without being soggy. Next go around I think we would opt for the brisket by the pound vs 2 single meat plates. Would definitely eat this again. Convenient to take home for dinner after you get groceries. We saved what we spent by not shopping hungry.

So seems like every time I order from here my order is wrong or VERY sloppy. I’m not happy at all. I either have onions on my bun or no sauce or both. I enjoy the buns, but I’m very upset. They need a smaller box for the sandwiches. Or put a toothpick in to hold it together. And 3 pickles per sandwich is not acceptable either.

Assembly line BBQ with the price of higher quality, locally owned bbq. BBQ was good enough, nothing great but nothing to get upset about. Sides were completely lacking in character and iced tea was barely distinguishable from water. We had to wait in line but this was mostly because the woman taking orders was holding everything up talking. I would probably give the BBQ itself 3 stars, sides 2 stars, service 2 stars, iced tea and H‑E‑B partnering with someone selling inferior product that competes with better locally owned product 1 star.

It was OK for a chain. Brisket was sliced WITH the grain (making it stringy) and was dried out so it was difficult to cut. Cornbread was dry. Sausage was just OK, kinda bland. Sides (Mac n cheese, potato salad) was fine. Brisket beans were good, if a little over seasoned. Could not taste the Brisket in beans tho. Service was friendly with a smile.

Great service and insanely great BBQ! The pulled pork sandwiches and the mac and cheese are some of the best I’ve ever had. There’s really nothing I don’t like on the menu. The brisket is so good, it doesn’t need any of their options of BBQ sauces (which are all incredibly delicious). Do yourself a favor, and try this place. It truly does rank with the likes of Opies and Terry Blacks. Download the app and order ahead to skip the line.

The BBQ Caboose is ridiculous come on. I’ve been to the HEB BBQ in Odessa, Midland, and the Lubbock locations and this site makes me cry with sadness.

BAD! Experience. The men behind the glass did help me pay out.but The credit card kiosk is too short and the directions to pay are poor. The food order: turkey is so dry that you can’t chew it and it was supposed to be “sauced” , NOT! Chopped brisket ( they were out of sliced) was old and funky, couldn’t wouldn’t eat it either. Torpedoes are OK. Of course you don’t realize these things on a take out till you get home. Overall, wayway below HEB care and quality. Will be a LONG time before I try it again.

The cornbread was totally burned. All three servings. The collared greens were bitter and salty. The bbq sauce was too hot to eat. The ribs were ok. Tender but no flavor. Don’t know about the potato salad. We ordered it but didn’t get it. Worst experience yet in marble falls. Will never ever do it again! The picture is the cornbread. Inedible!

I’ve had texas barbecue from other locations and it was delicious. When I heard we had one in town I talked it up. But I’m disappointed to say the least. The brisket is so thick you can’t bite your sandwich. It was also burned. This $2 sure ain’t worth $10. Guess I won’t be back and will let my people know otherwise.
