Okay, so I was hungry and had wanted a sandwich since yesterday, when I popped by to pick up a few things for the house. Mia who assisted me, was a great help. The order touch screen was not working well, and didn’t provide clear details. I started once and cancelled. Started again, and it was not clear on building a sandwich combo, if slaw was an add on or a side. Chips were not pictured and I was not able to upsize my drink from 20 oz to 32. Also, the sides in general were not easy to locate, view or add on this system. Even when ordering Mia had to make corrections. The brisket was great. The slaw was a great add on to the sandwich. The bag of chips was huge. All this is good to enjoy as a sandwich combo was over $25 for one person, with the extra brisket on the order. And while smokey and moist the brisket was not piping hot which would have taken this over the top. But overall far better than many others (see review for Pure Country in Boerne) was a great event.

While I cannot attest to the service or atmosphere, I can say with certainty this is definitely NOT true Texas BBQ. No barq on the brisket, chicken was tough, sides were not even worth honorable mention. Y’all please do yourselves a reboot, or rename. Definitely not the best Texas has to offer.

Pleasantly surprised how ridiculously good this BBQ was. The brisket and ribs were super tender. And the loaded cornbread with brisket was so good and sinful. I need to run an extra 30 minutes after eating that! Plus the cherry cobbler was so perfectly warm, sweet and yummy!

This was our first time here. We’re new to the area and never knew it existed ! Well, it was definitely worth the drive. I had the traditional turkey sandwich with potato salad, and my husband had the Texas brisket cheesesteak and mac and cheese. I got their strawberry lemonade, and my husband had sweet tea. The food was yummy . We got our order quick as well. It wasn’t busy either. It’s conveniently placed by the HEB. Well worth the drive and plan on going back.

1. Kiosk are not intuitive so doesn’t speed up the ordering process. 2 kiosk were held up by questions for the cashier.
2. Receipt is confusing. I ordered 2 meat plate but.receipt says:
2 meat plate 6.50
brisket $7
Sausage $5
Shouldn’t the $6.50 2 meat plate be labeled as 2 “sides”? If that is what you mean. Sounds like 2 meats implies $12 for brisket and sausage, instead I’m charged $18.50 total. Not clear why on receipt unless you deduce that 2 meat plate = sides.
3. My brisket was not hot, not warm, but cold! Unacceptable for a Friday evening dinner at 6:45pm
4. Beans tasted burnt and ransid
5. Too expensive . Because total with tax cost me over $20 for one person, I couldn’t afford a drink. Thank Goodness I didn’t bring my wife and our 3 children. Maybe you should include a drink with your 6.50 2 meat plate fee.
6. No management by walking around. No greeting . Atmosphere is very cold and impersonal.

Been here many times, and enjoy these delicious meals they prepared, One of my favorites is the sliced natural brisket sandwich, some times I ask for the larger one and extra spicy BBQ sauce.

They were out of several items on the menu. We had a coupon for a free banana pudding which they were out of. We asked the cashier if they could substitute it for another dessert, and she said no. A few minutes later, we saw that same cashier pulling some off the shelf from the store for another customer. My mom asked for some bbq sauce and the cashier threw them across the counter at her. The food we did get was good, but it wasn’t what we wanted. The cashier was very rude.
