Service was superb and pork ribs with okra were on point, amazing flavor! It was a high quality meal for very cheap, $12, and honestly the best place to go for bbq in Kingwood for the best price. HEB brand Dr. B is like $1 cheaper inside the restaurant vs in the actual grocery store.

Considering that this is located inside of a store, it is taken into consideration when given my ratings. Overall the food was good, but not highly recommended for real smoked BBQ. The quality of the meet was good. The macaroni and cheese was a big disappointment because it tasted like it was boxed Mac and cheese and it had so seasoning. At least add shredded cheese to the top of the Mac and cheese and make it replace it in the air fryer to caramelize the cheese and add salt and pepper. I don’t recommend the banana pudding! No cookies in it and there were few bananas. It wasn’t great! It’s easy to make banana pudding so there is no excuse.

First time here and I’d say the staff was super friendly, the place is very clean, and the dining area was great. I ordered the brisket, pulled pork, beans, and Cole slaw.
The pulled pork was good, not great but good for sure. The brisket beans were OUTSTANDING and I’d order them again and again.
The brisket was tender, juicy, but lacked the smoked brisket flavor you’d expect. The cole slaw was just plain awful, two bites was all I could stand so that went in the trash.
Overall, a good experience, but I’d get other bbq joints before coming back.

I just moved to the area, I’ve been here 3 times already. The meats are soooo good, you don’t even need the sauce. My daughter, who doesn’t care for bbq to much, even likes it. The wife also doesn’t care for it much but she enjoys the brisket nachos. It’s safe to say this has become my go to bbq spot. If you haven’t tried it out I highly recommend it.

. So happy to find good BBQ close to work. I ordered one meat and two sides. I did ask for lean brisket, but received fatty. Not a big deal, I cut that off. The coleslaw is okay — but too much liquid. The pinto beans are delicious!

Just like my choices in men I keep going back hoping it will get better. I love baked potatoes and every single time I decide to grab one from here the potato is terrible. Today I went at 12:00 hoping I get a fresh and fluffy baked potato but again I was wrong. I’ve given up. A cheap potato is exactly what you get.
