I had a great time at H-E-B true Texas BBQ oh my God Guys I’m saying if you’ve never ate brisket and you wanna try brisket and you wanna have a great experience your corn cream is so good mac & cheese is off the chain make you wanna slap your mama not only that the brisket is so juicy and tender. I was going to leave two stars but the beef rib was soo bad. The nacho cheese was too sweet. Dessert cobblers were just mushy. The brisket was pretty good maybe the only thing I would get again.
The beef rib tasted gristly and way too fatty throughout. Every bite tasted like a forkful of fat. I think the cook was off. We couldn’t finish it and my family loves barbecue. Felt like a waste of money overall.

I’ve been to True Texas BBQ more times than I can count, and every single I’m given amazing service and delicious food. On my most recent visit, I ordered the seasonal birria ramen for the first time and was greeted by Tanner. His customer service was so great I asked if he was the manager lol. It was top-notch and the birria ramen was a 10/10, as expected. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Tanner, for providing such a great experience and for making sure customers receive amazing food every time.

Good BBQ is hard to find. The only thing I did like was the okra. I didn’t like any of the meat I ordered. I ordered the pork sandwich, turkey, brisket and a few ribs to taste. The seasoning was overwhelming, way too much packed on. The ribs were full of fat, the sandwich was full of seasoning and a little dry. My husband said the turkey and brisket were ok. I will not be back unless I want okra. They do give you a good amount.

I purchase a baked potato and it was cold, when ask if they had a microwave to re-heat it, they said no, but didn’t offer another way to heat it. The cheese wasn’t even melted.

Very impressive! Love how clean and tidy the sit down area is. You have several choices of tea! Lemonade! Peach tea, sweet and unsweetened! If you sign up for the rewards they will sometimes offer free refillable mugs!! Shout out to Andres the restaurant attendant! Very friendly and social!! Definitely coming back!!
