The visit began on a positive bite. The young ladies hosting at the door greeted us and answered our questions. After previewing the menu we decided to stay and be seated. We were seated in a nice corner booth area by a window at about 2:50 pm. After being seated for almost 20 minutes, the manager comes over and asked if our drink orders had been taken. Mind you there was only one other party seated in our area and they were preparing to leave.
We placed our drink orders. The drinks arrived within a couple minutes. My meal companion had forgotten to request no ice, so we sent ot back. However, the drink came back in a significantly smaller glass. See attached photos. The water glass was the initial glass the beverage was served in. We ordered chicken tenders and fries. Requested that the fries be prepared extra crispy. Well, I guess that got misconstrued and applied to the chicken tenders. They were overcooked and dry while the fries were just done and soft. We had waited quite awhile for our meal. Received the meal at about 3:40 pm. Another group had come in after us, we’re seated and had their drink orders rather quickly. And they received their meals prior to us.
I was unable to eat my meal. Dry chicken is quite a challenge. We tried to get the attention of thr manager and it appeared as if he was ignoring our attempts to get his attention. Mind you we were wavimg our hands in the air. My meal was removed from the bill after our waiter finally returned to check on us. I am not going to mention his name because he could possibly be a minor working part-time. He appeared a little uneasy as if he knew the ball had been dropped while serving us. My companion observed another waiter in another area shaking his head because they witnessed the poor service we received. This experience was VERY disappointing amd has left me NOT wanting to return again. It was tender and fries that was not prepared properly which makes me question the preparation of other items on the menu. I rarely, give second chances to places that gives disregarding and disrespectful service. It is crazy how a mental concept like money can be more respected than people. So, I will respectfully spend my funds elsewhere. Sadly, the service or lack thereof afyer being seated made this a negative experience. The food could have saved them if prepared properly.

Absolutely incredible experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the healthiest but still most satisfying dishes I’ve had in a long time. Everything tasted like it was made with real care. Service was friendly, fast, and super attentive, and the atmosphere felt calm, clean, and welcoming. You can tell this place truly values quality. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a meal that makes you feel good during and after eating it. Will definitely be back.

This is my first time at True Food Kitchen and I had the Ancient grain bowl and I added steak for protein . The flavor this bowl packed was so good ! Was not expecting it to taste that good ! Wow , I was very impressed . And the service was great and the atmosphere was nice . A lot of greenery around to emphasize the quality of food they serve here . My BF tried the pizza and it was made with homemade sourdough that they make fresh daily . Would definitely recommend ! It was more on the pricier side but the quality was great . I will be eating here again .

I’ve been here a couple of times and have always liked the atmosphere. The decor evokes the clean and fresh vibe they are going for. The service is good.
The food is okay to good, but I wouldn’t say everything is delicious. You have to look at it for what it is, health food, not comfort food.
When I eat here it’s because I’m looking for options with no seed oils or gluten free, and that’s important to me. I’m thankful that places like this exist. This time I tried their chicken avocado wrap and edamame dumplings, as pictured.

Fantastic selection of healthy options. Roasted Brussels excellent with a spicy bite. Delicious ancient grain bowl with a balanced variety of flavour.

Went for a late lunch the first day it opened. We ate outside in the covered area w ceiling fans and a TV or 2. The service could not have been better. The fish tacos (fried cod) were so good. The sweet potato fries were great, as were the potato appetizer (forgot the name). It was pretty unique the way the potatoes were layered. So good. I will definitely go back!

Tried their vegan mushroom pizza – was super delicious with quality ingredients.
The only downside is a $20+ personal pizza price is ok the pricier side

Every time I come to this location of True Food Kitchen I’m never disappointed. The food is great and always the best quality. The staff is absolutely friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is perfect no matter where you sit or how many people you have in your party. I recommend checking this location out sooner rather than later! Thank you True Food Kitchen for always being exactly what’s expected.

I like this place because it’s free of seed oils and has very healthy options. However, it may as well be a vegetarian restaurant altogether. Just know that if you order a bowl and add steak to it for over $9 you will receive something as dry as beef jerky and almost none of it at all. The pieces of meat were so small and there were so few of them that I couldn’t even tell they were there at first. Another time I ordered salmon and the fish smelled so bad that I couldn’t even eat it. If you’re going to offer meat on the menu, either price it appropriately and make it edible or don’t serve it at all. I’ll be back because I can order without added protein but I can’t say the same for my SO and another friend of ours. On another note, our drinks never got refilled. Unfortunately the quality of this restaurant has just gone so far downhill over the years. Sucks because the concept behind it is nice.
