Visited on a Sunday after hearing great things about True Food. Love the concept and idea of food that is seed oil free. Ordered the chicken tenders and simple salad and enjoyed both. The sourdough cheese pizza was a big hit with our kids. The only disappointment was the steak frites. Ordered the steak cooked medium and when it was served it clearly well done, the server immediately agreed from across the table and said they would send it back. The interesting thing is the next steak that was brought out after about a 10 minute wait looked like a different cut than the first steak. It was closer to medium rare but at this point we didn’t want to have to wait any longer. The flavor was good although the meat was a bit tough. While not a steakhouse, the experience was a little disappointing.
The menu offers a wide variety of fresh, health-focused dishes that feel light yet filling. One highlight was the Ancient Grains Bowl ordered by my friend. The dish stood out for its excellent combination of textures and flavors, and the pistachios added a surprising and memorable crunch — a real burst of flavor that elevated the entire bowl.
Service was friendly and efficient, making the lunch experience smooth despite the busy shopping-hour crowd. Portions were well balanced, and the quality of the ingredients was evident.
Overall, True Food Kitchen is a great option for a post-shopping lunch in Atlanta. The thoughtful menu, flavorful dishes, and comfortable setting make it well worth the stop, especially if you’re looking for something fresh and well prepared.
Since it was Valentine’s Day on the 14th and I expected it to be busy, I placed an online order in advance. I ordered two items. I arrived 10 minutes after the estimated pickup time, yet the order was still not ready. I ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes at the store.
To make matters worse, when I finally got home and opened the order, the food inside was completely different from what I had ordered.
Everything above is factual. I’ll leave the rest to future customers’ judgment. Very disappointing experience.
What makes an amazing experience is pure genuine hospitality with clever talent that really makes a difference in someone’s day! My #Tuesday at #Truefood #teacup #Shotglass the cutest choice ever thank you so much for everything! #love #PaulaMichelle
We both ordered from the True Trio lunch menu that comes with a drink, main dish & a pairing which is a soup or salad for $19.50 which most of the meals outside of this lunch menu was $19 or more so made sense to order from this Trio menu with the drink & pairing included.
I got the Mediterranean wrap + seasonal market salad. The salad was good but the wrap was very messy to eat. It could be due to too much sauce in the wrap or simply due to the way the sandwich is wrapped: it was kept open at the bottom. Picture attached.
My husband got the chicken ranch wrap + chopped salad. Overall he liked his wrap but same thing everything was just falling out including the chicken making a mess.
We both got the Pink dragon fruit drink. It was okay, a little tart at the beginning. I wanted to get the strawberry lemonade but my husband said when he came with his coworkers one of them ordered it & he remembers him saying it wasn’t good. My husband had originally ordered the green tea but that wasn’t good so he opted to order the same thing as me.
We ordered the pesto pasta, avocado toast, and the tofu scrambled bowl. For drinks, we got a matcha latte and 2 lattes
The coffee was pretty underwhelming, and the matcha was also skippable.
The food was decent, 6.5-7/10 across the board
