I had a terrible experience with this burger place. To begin with, I ordered the more expensive fries with cheese, which I never received. I was informed that “they ran out of cheese”, but no alternative was offered and I wasn’t given a refund either.
The burger itself was a disaster half of the chicken was raw and undercooked, which is completely unacceptable and unsafe. On top of that, the fries were mixed with raw, uncooked ones.
Overall, the food quality and customer service were extremely poor. I totally do not recommend this place to anyone.

Truly awful service.

Meal came without fries even though it clearly notes served with fries.

Server was rude and clearly noted that I needed to order fries as a $2 extra. This was to upgrade to cheese fries.

Expensive ands really poor staff.

Everything that I paid extra for was not actually on my burger, half of what was supposed to be on the burger according to its description was missing – as in the Big Bacon BBQ Burger had neither bacon nor BBQ sauce on it – the one thing I can’t have and requested not to be on my burger was slathered on there. I put it in the order and made the staff aware of it beforehand. The food was cold and the drinks were missing. I’m more than disappointed, especially considering the high price of 55$ for the two burgers and drinks that I ordered.

The burger was a major letdown. The bread was overly thick, which only made the mediocre toppings stand out more. The fries were even worse—somehow bland and unappealing, which is impressive considering how hard it is to ruin fries.

On top of that, the order wasn’t prepared correctly. I specifically asked for no arugula, yet it still came with it. The burger was supposed to have a bacon onion jam, but instead I just got plain caramelized onions. To make matters worse, the cheese wasn’t even melted.

Overall, it was a shockingly poor experience from start to finish.

The organization at True Burger Co in JFK was so bad I genuinely wondered if it was a hidden camera show. Every single order was wrong or missing something. They were calling numbers completely out of order — jumping from 16 to 24 — while no one seemed to be getting the food they actually paid for.

People waited endlessly; several customers gave up and left after 30 minutes because they had planes to catch. My own order (just chicken tenders and fries!) took 25 minutes, and when it finally arrived, it felt like the staff were moving in slow motion on purpose.

The supposed manager? He stood there watching the chaos unfold, doing absolutely nothing. The whole scene was so absurd it eventually made me laugh.

I didn’t expect much from an airport fast food spot, but this was next-level disorganization. If you value your time or your sanity, just don’t go there.

What kinda Burger joint runs out if burgers at 10:30 pm at an airport? They only had 2 options: Chicken sandwich or Chickrn tenders. $43 for these items and got 4 chicken fingers. The food was dry, tasteless & unbearable to digest. What a loser joint !
Dont spend Your money here. Was better off remaining hungry. 0 stars

In JFK airport terminal 7 near gate 3, this one draws lots or customers around 10 pm. The burgers are looking great, and they got fries and cheese fries. They do have an impossible burger, too. We ordered fries and cheese fries. The lines are long and took 15 minutes to place the order. But the food was given fast. The fries tasted okay. The cheese sauce was given on the side for the fries. The fries were served hot.

IF YOU ARE SHORT ON TIME DO NOT ORDER HERE.
I waited 25 mins for a burger and fries. Obviously the options around are not fantastic, but at least the other food is probably timely. I was waiting alongside about 15 other customers for 25 mins, while the employees were shouting at each other and playing on their phones and moving slowly in the back. I saw a family leave without their food because they had to make their flight – I guess they presumed ordering 30 minutes before their flight would be safe, but not at True Burger. The food once it arrives is fine, normal fast food, although my burger bun was cold. $20 for a burger and fries with a 25 min wait time is not it.

I ordered the cheeseburger and chicken tenders. The burger had ZERO taste! I mean nothing. Granted, it did come with a side of sauce. But without the sauce it NO FLAVOR. I mean literally none.

I saw some customers ahead of me, asking for packets of salt and pepper, but I thought they were just being weird. Little did I know that I should have also grabbed some before leaving.

I only give this to stars instead of one because the chicken tenders were pretty good. I mean you can’t really screw those up. But the burger was absolutely flavorless. Even with onions, lettuce, pickles and relish. You have to cover it in sauce to get any flavor.

So, you are here in the terminal 7 food court. No real good options. But, not bad. True Burger is OK. Good burger, why it’s dry I don’t know. But it’s pretty good. Nice size. Fries were well above average and actually, the burger combo for 17 bucks isn’t bad for airport food.
Beers are expensive, but they’re cold and good.
I’d come back here.
