Nice little drive from Macon. Tru Blue Bar-BQ was good BBQ. Pickle chips always a fun appetizer. Had the pulled pork tots yummy! The table BBQ sauce was the star in this place. Tangy and sweet the way it should be. Pork steak tender and ribs were very good.

First thing, they have fried green beans! So that’s a bonus. Also, for being a local BBQ place they do a good job, and have the hometown diner feel that I like. And the food is good. Both in the restaurant and the food truck (which I’ve had in other places). I’m a fan of the pulled pork fries or tater tots, and my wife had the ribs and they were fall off the bone good.

An impressive restaurant – well lit, clean, prompt service, with a good menu. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, there are solid options for each.
We enjoyed the ribs, smothered tots, and pulled pork. They have excellent ice cream available for dessert.
