The better half and I tend to like drive ins, dives, etc. Trucker Burger was on the way back to Tucson so we made a stop. It’s located in the gas express on the east side of the freeway. Place was spotless. We ordered the double cheeseburger added bacon $10, brisket nachos $10, side of onion rings $10. Drinks are serve yourself from the fountain selection in the gas mart…which is huge and stocked with a huge variety of snacks.
We were pleasantly surprised with the nachos. The large clamshell was shoved full of tri colored chips, cheese sauce, shredded cheddar, brisket, chopped avocado, corn salsa, pico and jalapeño slices. We shared and still took half home. The burger was meaty, but for that price, deserved a drink and fries. As a normal low carber, the burger would have done the job, but not for a big eater.
The onion rings were more like savory onion shreds. They were crispy and delicious. We will definitely be back when we don’t have time to visit another destination. Looking forward to trying the chicken nachos.

It looked and could off possibly been the best nachos I’ve ever had.Really disappointed after tasting the cheese sauce it was flour like thick and cold and just nasty. Everything else on it was great and fresh but the whole point is the cheese. Staff was friendly place is very clean I’d give them another shot I hope it was bad timing and luck

Got a mushroom cheeseburger, fries and a drink..$15.. a little pricey for a burger that is on the smaller side. The burger was decent and made fresh but the mushrooms were hardly there. The pickles are delicious. The person who took my order was very nice and the place is impeccably clean.

Best coffee I’ve ever had at a truck stop. The coffee is fresh ground when you purchase it. Try the dark roast Sumatra. It’s the bomb.

UPDATE: trucker Burgers close permanently so there are no more brisket nachos. I lowered the rating to four stars because it’s still a nice clean c-store with plenty of truck parking and very good coffee. But that’s all it is.

VEGANS AND VEGETARIANS BEWARE!!! Had to shout this place out because as a vegan, sometimes it’s hard to come across good vegan options (especially on the road), and I decided to walk into Trucker Burger for the lulz because I didn’t expect to find anything I could have. I however was amazed to see they had a vegetarian mushroom burger that could be turned vegan by removing the dairy from the burger always nice to see veganism and vegan options in general progressing in the world!

We decided to give chef inspired Trucker Burger a shot, the burgers were made to order fresh, flavorful on brioche buns with homemade pickles. He had tator tots and I had the buttermilk onion rings, both were great. A little pricey but worth it for the quality. The cashier was super friendly too. We will def be back!!

I loved it from the first bite. The pickles were delicious and enhanced the burger flavor. I had the trucker double burger. The fries were hot and limp and salty. I love my fries like that.
My co driver liked his smokehouse burger but wasn’t a fan of the fries.
The buns were great tasting too.

Hands down, one of the very best burgers and onion rings I have EVER had. Yes, cool atmosphere for quick meal on the go, but a neat place to relax and enjoy as well.
Basically stumbled into this place when filling up with gas. Seriously, I virtually never take the time to write a review, but this place is that good. Had a double cheese burger ( I think it was their #1 ) with onion rings…AMAZING!
I just looked up the place to refer a friend heading by Eloy and was not surprised this food comes a well know chef. This blows away gourmet burger burgers and it’s at a very reasonable price. Friendly and fast – I’ll be stopping in again next time I’m in Eloy.

Onion rings was fairly good, but batter did not coat the onions at all. I had a Classic burger and it was nasty. It tasted like card board. It was Bryan’s had cucumbers on it instead of pickles. My husband had the sunshine burger and it not the best by far.

The food here is amazing. The servers are very kind and quick it’s located inside the express fuel gas stations if you come here try the trucker burger it’s really good they have some sort of special sauce that just completes the burger . Also I’ve tried the chicken nachos and those were great ! Over all a really good experience!
