I ordered a shrimp dinner for my mom, knowing how picky she is but also knowing I didn’t have time to drive all over the world to get her this dinner. The neighborhood/location isn’t the most inviting, but the customer service is 10/10 and my mom really liked the food. I bought a pound of shrimp from them today and as I was eating, I began to feel sick. The shrimp were cooked a nice golden brown, but the batter was did not cook inside. I called the restaurant and the lady told me to bring them back and she will let me know what she can do. Well, a man assisted me when I returned and I told him about the batter and me getting sick. Not once did he apologize for me getting sick. He was only concerned about how many shrimp I ate and he asked what did I want him to do and I told him that I wanted my money back and I do not have to return. The resolve to the problem is to put the shrimp in the oven to make sure that they cooked throughout.

This food was hot delicious and the portion size was just right. The okra was season and crunchy as well as the perch the coleslaw was good also had a little vest to it which is always a plus but the highlight of my meal if I don’t say so myself were those delicious shrimp. Battered to perfection you can eat the whole thing because they pull the tail right off. I look forward ordering more items off of there menu. If you’re on the Eastside make sure you check this place out.
