With West Yellowstone full of overpriced tourist traps with crappy food, this establishment is a welcome reprieve. The burgers are cooked perfectly and offered in great portions sizes, with tasty and fresh ingredients. We got the fried Mac n’ Cheese (delicious!) and 2 Rancher burgers, one with beef and one with bison. The restaurant has adorable, Teddy Roosevelt themed decor. Food came fast and servers were friendly. All burgers can be modified to use bison, chicken, or a veggie patty. A bit pricey, but you will find way worse food in WY for the same price. Five stars!

Great experience all around! The service was friendly and attentive, and we were seated and served quickly, even with a steady crowd. The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and perfectly prepared. What really stood out was the trivia about Theodore Roosevelt rotating on the TV screen — such a fun and unique touch that made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Overall, great vibes, great food, and great service. We’ll definitely be back!

By far the best food experience this side of Yellowstone. The burgers were cooked to perfection, the sous vide chicken in the salad was amazing. I had the Conservationist and it was great. We loved the vibe, the great amd quick service amd the TR facts on the screen were a fun bonus. We all had a great time amd will recommend this to everyone we know who visits the area. I have to add in that the staff was fantastic.

We all agreed this was the best food we had in our week at West Yellowstone! We each got a different burger and they were all amazing. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.

We enjoyed eating here. We had the fried mac and cheese bites appetizer, The American burger and The Rough Rider burger. The Mac and cheese bites were yummy and had a little bit of a kick, but weren’t too spicy. The burgers and fries were good, not the best ones I’ve had, but also not the worst, just pretty basic burgers with a good sauce on it. The service was great as well!
They also charge a 3% fee for using a credit card, maybe this is common for the area, I’m not sure.

I had the Double Presidents burger and it seriously might be one of the best burgers I’ve had, and I’ve eaten burgers in nearly every state. Big, juicy, flavorful steak patty cooked just right. Fries were hot, crisp, and perfectly salted. Staff was friendly and really attentive without hovering.
Great spot to unwind after a full day exploring the park. Definitely a must-stop if you’re in the area.

Great place for a great burger! We’ve eaten here twice and the food has been hot fresh and delicious each time! Highly recommend the “Conservationist burger” with fig jam! It’s one of the best flavor combinations I’ve ever had. Great service and atmosphere! 10/10 ⭐️

If the fries were crispy it would have been nearly perfect. I added some of my husbands Huckleberry jam from his burger to my salad dressing to make a Huckleberry vinaigrette for a little sweetness. We enjoyed watching the slideshow about Teddy Roosevelt. A block or two away from the hustle and bustle so there was no wait.

Finally… as we were visiting the West of Yellowstone Museum I wanted to finally have the Bison burger since our trips started. I was somewhat skeptical unless I had a great review on this burger and finally saw this restaurant…
We had our dinner and had both of us a house salad which amazed me when the little whit bowl was placed on my table and I decided to spread it on a plate they have also provided…. It blew my mind as I poured the salad from the bowl it kept growing like popcorn…. The huge amount of salad was a great surprise, very fresh and delicious. But now going back to my Bison burger…. This was so delicious and so well prepared with their personal house sauce.
I am so glad I have chosen this restaurant to try for the first time this great burger which had no wild taste at all… simply the best burger I’ve had ever…. Staff and server very friendly and learn so much of Yellowstone history while we waited for our dinner since they have a screen with the starting if Yellowstone and Theodore Roosevelt impact life around the west.

Stopped here for dinner after being in the park. They didn’t have a wait. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The theme of the whole restaurant is President Teddy Roosevelt. So they have TVs showing old photos and giving funny stories about him. We had a infant with us in a car seat and they were good enough to put us in a booth.
The service was pretty good. We did an appetizer of the cheese curds which were very good. The Huckleberry sauce was excellent. Burgers came out fairly quickly. Mine was very good, it was the conservationist the fig jam on it was delicious. My wife’s was a little soggy on the bottom. Her’s came with sauteed onions. We think that they put them on the burger cold and a little overly moist. They were on the bottom piece of bread and it kind of made the burger soggy. She’s still ate it but she said there was a couple of bites that she did not love.
They have bathrooms They were pretty good. They had a life-size cut out of Roosevelt that you could take a selfie with and they had a moose head on the wall wearing a spectacles.
I would probably go there again.
