A small group of us dined for Father’s day and had a very early dinner. It took a while to get greeted but after that service was better. Our server gave many recommendations. Majority of the table went with the salmon Oscar. My boyfriend and I went with the shrimp and grits which was practically vacuumed off the plate and I loved the trout so much I got 2 (1 to go with a chicken). Unfortunately, most that got the salmon special felt it was underwhelming. The Brussels were great, but the mashed potatoes were flat and the mac and cheese was not cheesy as described (which was why I got it). One thing that still rubs me the wrong way 2 days later, was that when the bill was split in 2 the was not mentioned that all of the auto gratuity was put on one check. If I had not known, he would have received almost a 40% tip on a total $460 check, which looks very deceptive. It should have been mentioned by our server. Overall we had a good experience at a local black owned business with a perfect DPH score of 100! Two of us will be back for sure.

Our meal was one of the best meals I have ever had! I ordered the blackened steak topped with lobster along with a side of delicious brussels sprouts and creamy Mac and cheese. This restaurant has excellent service. Our waitress was very nice and went over the off menu specials which is what I ordered. I also had a delicious cocktail called Georgia on my mind.

What an experience!! We went there for my husband’s birthday because he’s been a fan of chef Garvin. Service, ambiance, and food were all perfection!!!! Shelby was our server, and she was very detailed on describing the specials and dishes, very patient, friendly, and attentive. We’re definitely coming back, and I’m recommending to friends and family.

As a new black restaurant owner of Bookers Restaurant & Bar in West Philadelphia(Shameless plug) I love this part when I get to do my market research in other cities around the country. From the time I entered Low Country Restaurant everything was perfect from a customers experience standpoint and as a owner. My waitress Taylor and her trainee did excellent . Her knowledge of the menu and up selling skills was a restaurant owners dream. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning.

Came here for my anniversary dinner and left happy. Our server Kevin gave wonderful service. Just a note: parking is to the left of the building in the garage, and scan the qr code in the garage. Then once inside, they will give you a code to validate your parking for 2hrs. It’s a little tricky. They have an expansive drink menu with strong drinks, which was a plus. For food, we started with the cornbread. It was thick, but could’ve been somewhat sweeter. I got the bone-in ribeye steak, which I thought would’ve been thicker, but still, it had great flavor. I topped it with the cajun garlic butter. My wife got the Japanese A5 Wagyu, which also had great flavor & was super tender. For sides, we got the brussel sprouts, which were fried leaves, but they were amazing. And we added on the garlic mashed potatoes. They were a little too salty, but were good nonetheless. We finished off with the donut bread pudding, and it was so good! The establishment is nice, with good decor. The food is solid. I recommend you support this Black-owned establishment!

I was most excited to try this restaurant. Our server was good. He was friendly and very attentive, however he could have been a bit more knowledgeable on the menu items. I give the sides a 4 out of 5, but the steak stole the show with a 10 out of 5!!! The tenderness and flavor were perfection!!!

Wow! After our visit to Atlanta coming to this restaurant really was the highlight of our trip. The service was amazing; the food was the best we’ve ever had (compliments to chef Marcus!). We were astonished by how great everything was. If we are ever back in ATL, we surely will be back. Keep up the great work!
