I’ve come to Tropical Smoothie probably once a year for the past 10+ years. Most of the time the smoothies are very bland. After going there, I’ll give it some time before I go again, thinking they’ll get better because my wife likes the place. But then we go and the smoothies will have a very bland taste or taste bad.
Today we went and I order a paradise point smoothie, half portion of the banana serving and extra strawberries. I was thinking this would make the smoothie taste better. Nope! Still taste bland.
I don’t understand what they are doing compared to the strawberry banana smoothies from Costco, a similar smoothie at Jamba or Orange Julius, but they can seem to make a good smoothie.
I hate to be harsh since the girls working there were very friendly and we were in and out within minutes, but the smoothies just taste “meh”

Went this morning to get a bowl and the lady at the window was so rude ! It was like it was an inconvenience to take my phone for payment and shut the window aggressively. She came back with my food and was so annoyed i said thank you and have a good day and she walked away and shut the window aggressively again didnt even say a word or make eye contact ! I get people have bad days but dont take it out on your guests !

With an office just up the street, to say the menu here has become a mainstay is an understatement.
The building may be unassuming from the outside. The long line of cars in the drive thru may desuade you. But let me share a little secret with, there’s a reason the line is always huge!
From a salad to the wrap, or a chicken quesadilla with amazing salsa – you can’t go wrong with the food.
I won’t even start with the smoothies as they are made from the special ingredients from a secret planet where the top items are not only delicious but addictive and soothing.
There’s not a bad thing on the menu. And the fact that every single thing is made fresh, and to order makes this place something special.
The team works hard, diligent as they take pride in serving up something tasty with every order.
From visiting clients, to lunch with my family – it’s one of my favorite places for a quick, healthy and delicious option.
Highly recommended.

While it’s not my absolute favorite smoothie place, it’s nice to come here since it’s so close to Dixie’s campus. Each time I get a wrap or sandwich I’m always very pleasantly surprised by how good it is. Some smoothies I’ve gotten tasted really great, others tasted a little bit more on the icy side, making me feel like half the smoothie is ice. But maybe you could ask for less ice? The one thing that always gets me though is the wait time. Not sure if it’s because the people in front of me ordered something that takes 688457 years to make or what but I’m waiting 20-30 minutes most times that i come. I feel like if they could let customers know about how long something will take or pick up the pace, it would greatly improve their service and customer’s expectations.

I eat at Tropical Smoothie Cafe all the time! Just moved to the area and was excited to get my usual. I got a Baja chicken bowl that barely covered the bottom of the bowl. It also had no sauce on it. I live 20 minutes away or I would have gone back to get a refund. I can usually split this bowl with my husband but this time it was about 4 bites! So disappointing. I feel like I have been punked!

Super disappointed with the food. I ordered online what I expected to be a rice bowl (understandably if you view the menu picture and read the Baja chicken description) topped with Romain, chicken, cheese, beans etc. What I received was a pound of partially wilted Romain topped with a teaspoon of half cooked rice and very little else. The only good thing was the chicken but just barely. Everything else was inedible. This was my first visit and I have no interest in going back.

Mostly powder,hardly any fresh ingredients ,and the time it takes to make each one (10-15 minutes) when it’s slow a party of two in the dining room and two cars in drive thru and yes I took in consideration if there were big orders but weren’t. And please no need to reply and give the old ” We’re sorry for your experience ” bit and no a free smoothie when you buy the product of the month bit helps either, but hey! I walked in to order a smoothie and I came to the front and nobody was up at the counter. I heard employees in the back laughing and talking. I stood there say hello and tried grabbing there attention and no response. I had to call the store to asked them to help me out. Bad service at this place plus there’s better smoothie places all over town.
