The entrée presentation and overall restaurant atmosphere are truly a must-see. We enjoyed our experience, and the staff was very professional. At one point, we were seated in an empty room toward the back, but after requesting to be moved, we were happily relocated to a more lively area. Aside from that brief moment, it was a very good experience.

What a lovely experience! Such a beautiful place, so nice and colorful, with exceptional food, and service. Our server CeCe was super nice and friendly!
The food was amazing and Im sure the cocktails would have been, but it was lunchtime and we still had too much work to do still.
We had the shrimp and street corn empanadas and cod fish tacos! So delicious! Also a side if their special guacamole!
If I live closer, I would be eating here once a week.
Give this place a try if you were craving some very good Mexican food!
Buy a tee shirt too, those were pretty cool!

I had my 36th birthday dinner at Sophia’s Taqueria in Toms River, and it was amazing! The staff was so friendly and made the celebration feel special. The salsa and chips were fresh and flavorful, and the Sofia’s Secret Guacamole Dip was next-level delicious.
I had the Chicken Enchiladas with Suizas Sauce, and the flavors were incredible — easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Dessert was the Horchata Flan, and it was the perfect finish — creamy, sweet, and full of cinnamon flavor.
The team even came out to sing happy birthday! Great food, great vibes, and amazing service. Highly recommend for birthdays, date nights, or just an awesome dinner out!

From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Went in with a couple of good friends, first time I have been there. The place is really sharp in side you feel like you’re in Mexico. Started with the Nachos with beef. I never had them like this it looked like a Mexican Pizza and it was absolutely delicious! I had the steak chimichanga my friends had Fish Tacos and a burrito bowl. All the food was right on point and tasted fantastic. Our sever Olivia was right there with everything we needed
All in all I highly recommend, you will not be dissatisfied.

Food was amazing. Got crowded quick, but I can see why it’s a high demand eatery. Only wierd things was table clearing lady hawking us, you put your fork down for 5 seconds and she’s coming over asking questions. It was too much and very annoying.

Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch. I have to say that we were very impressed by the decor and attention to detail in the theming of the restaurant. Our server Klarissa was very attentive and friendly. She gave us a few recommendations on cocktails and entrees that were outstanding; she did a great job! You have to get the guacamole; so fresh and delicious! The salsa was amazing and fresh as well. Pictures speak volumes; everything was perfect and delicious. Looking forward to going back. Great job Sofias Team!
