On DEC 21 2025, I was served a bag of chips that was later discovered to be **expired**. Unfortunately, I had already consumed the product before realizing it was past its expiration date. Serving expired food is a serious violation of food safety standards and poses a potential health risk to customers.

After discovering the issue, I informed an employee named **Bella**. Her response was extremely unprofessional and concerning. She did not offer any apology or show concern for the situation. She simply responded, “okay,” and took no responsibility for serving expired food. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable.

I didnt want to take it as a serious action first, but her rude attitude and “0” apologize actionis very concerned and unprofessional.

Racist General Manager – Buyer Beware

My experience with the general manager was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. As I attempted to order my meal, I asked a simple question about whether protein smoothies were included in the combo options. Her response was, “Sure, whatever,” delivered with a dismissive tone, no eye contact, and an openly hostile demeanor.

Trying to reset the interaction, I politely asked if she was having a good day. She responded “yes,” but continued to look away, sigh, and behave as if speaking to me was an inconvenience and something she was being forced to endure rather than part of her job.

The disdain in her behavior was unmistakable. Based on the immediate shift in attitude toward me and prior warnings I’ve heard about this location’s history of racially biased treatment, the interaction felt prejudiced and targeted. I did not feel welcomed or respected as a customer.

When I asked to speak to a manager, I was shocked to learn that she was the manager. Instead of addressing the concern, she pointed at her card and walked away to the back, effectively dismissing me entirely.

No customer should be treated with contempt or made to feel unwelcome. This experience was unacceptable, especially from someone in a managerial position.

Every time I come in here the workers always have a bad attitude. No one ever greets you. Came in today and Jessica (lady with glasses and 2 lip piercings) assisted me.She completely ignored me when I came in, then came to the register and just stared at me , no “hi or what can I get for you”. After I started ordering her tone of voice
was very rude. After she made my smoothie she did not call my name. They also are never slammed so that’s not even an excuse. Love the smoothies and food here but I will no longer be coming here due to the bad customer service. You guys should not hire people that lack people skills a simple “hi , how are you” is a very basic manner.

I give 1 star because I can not give zero. I have never left a negative review anywhere, but felt I needed to leave one for this place. Every single worker in here is beyond disrespectful. One of the workers literally threw my friends order at her because they got her name wrong and she didn’t know it was her. Then they decided to throw the rest of our food at the end of the register and wave it in the air. Mind you, we were the only people in here. There aren’t even slammed. Had to sit outside to eat because the vibes were horrible inside. Worst experience ever will never be back.

I always have a great experience at Southlake Smoothie King! The staff is super friendly and welcoming every time I stop by. The smoothies are always fresh, tasty, and hit the spot — especially on a hot day. I also love how many choices they have; it’s easy to find something that fits whatever I’m in the mood for. Great people, great smoothies, great vibe all around!

Rudest people I’ve ever interacted with. One of the workers had a name wrong and waived the food in the faces of the people waiting saying “TURKEY BACON RANCH WHATEVER TAKE IT” manager did nothing. She actually snapped at a doordash driver because he couldn’t find his order. Turns out they put it in the complete wrong space. So anyways just don’t waste your time or money. Sat outside just to avoid getting snapped at. Monique and Jessica need an attitude check fr.

The service here is so bad. I never come online to write a review, but I feel as I had to for this one. The ladies working were extremely snappy and short to someone who is a paying customer. They were nearly throwing food at people. I also watched the what I believe to be manager SNAP at a door dash worker for not knowing where his food was.

Very rude lady at the counter. Some folks are just naturally always disgruntled and this seems to be the case of the store here too. She seems to think she’s doing her paying customers a favor by provding them the order they paid for and also tipped her for.
Please remember its the paying customer that is the reason the store is running and if you arent interested in ensuring your customers are getting what they asked for, you have no reason to be in the business.

White old lady at register, perhaps the manager was so rude. She got upset because we asked them to remake the sandwich because they did it wrong. Acai bowl was nasty & we threw it away. Tasted like an old frost-bitten smoothie. Don’t waste your time, go to Jamba.
