Amazing cafe. This is just like all the others, because after all it is a franchise.
I love that this is locally owned, and I was even able to meet the owner. I had a random error on my transaction and he talked to me and checked to make sure it was all covered.
The whole crew seemed super nice and sweet and social. Many cafes I go to I feel the workers aren’t as accommodating or talkative but this was refreshing. The cafe was really bright and large.
Not to mention my food was delicious and I get this quesadilla every time! But this one was one of the best I have had by far and made really well.

After my last experience at Tropical Smoothie, I will never return! I find the cleanliness of this place horrid, the blenders are only rinsed and the smoothie bar appears poorly cleaned. Not to mention the employees seem miserable and unhappy to help you. I went over to wait by the windows after ordering and saw a mouse run alongside the wall by my feet. I didn’t even wait for my food, I just left. I understand this building is old but I should not have to worry about what might be contaminating my food.

Tropical Smoothie Café is honestly the best — their smoothies taste super fresh and full of real fruit, not fake or watered down like the blairsferry rd one. Every time I go, the drinks are blended perfectly and always hit the spot. You can actually taste the difference in quality!
Their food is just as good too — the wraps, flatbreads, and quesadillas are flavorful and made fresh. The staff is always friendly, and the whole place has a chill vibe. Overall, Tropical Smoothie on Edgewood is way better than the blairsferry one and it’s totally worth going to!

Love the smoothies from here. But one thing I do not appreciate is how the girls working there are rude. Last week, I went inside to place an order and as I sat down to wait , the girls behind the counter were laughing and pointing at me, (when I wasn’t looking) but I looked up and caught them red handed. I felt very uncomfortable after that. If they’re gonna be laughing and pointing fingers maybe they shouldn’t work there.

I ordered the santa fe chicken and had it delivered. This is it. Just a bare toasted wrap with less meat than a single taco bell taco. No beans/no peppers just robbery. It’s not worth the time to try anymore. There’s a nice Mexican restaurant that will pour it on my plate for what is charged here. Look at this picture. This is what came I just opened it. Not believable. My wife and I ordered from you Jacqueline/Jackie.

Fruit bowls are not good at all here. It was not worth the $10 at all. To start off the size is too small for the price. The fruit is from cans. I ordered a dragon fruit bowl and both the pineapple and mangos were from a can and not fresh at all. The goji berries were dried out and not fresh at all. Very disappointed and will not be ordering bowls there anything. Everbowl is a lot better and fresh.

I’ve been to so many smoothie places in my life. Tropical Smoothie Café? That’s literally lifestyle. A spiritual experience. I walked in feeling like shit and walked out feeling revitalized.The staff at my usual location? 10/10. They’re actually angels in aprons. You can tell they’ve been worked HARD since it’s the only good smoothie place in town — yet they still smile, still blend that smoothie, and still hand me my green detox within seconds of taking my order. The smoothies are smooth (obviously), the wraps slap, and the vibes are top tier.
Now… let’s talk about the Blairs Ferry location…….
If you wanted to know what disappointment tastes like, just go there and order literally anything. It’s like the Bermuda Triangle of smoothies I swear… Your happiness, your order accuracy, and your will to live all mysteriously disappear. Every time I’ve gone there, something has gone wrong in a new, way. Once they forgot the banana in my banana smoothie. Another time, I swear I waited so long for a burrito that I started rethinking all of my life choices. It’s not even that the workers are rude, they just suck. They look you in the eye and say “it’ll be ready soon,” and you just know they’re lying but also kind of respect the confidence. Meanwhile, the other Tropical Smoothie is out here are building community, curing hangovers, and blending joy itself into a cup. Blairs Ferry? They’re blending regret. So if you’re ever craving a smoothie and want to actually enjoy it, drive across town to this location. I beg of you. Because Blairs Ferry location? That’s where good smoothies go to die.

Tropical Smoothie Café is always such a solid pick — the smoothies are fresh, the food’s tasty, and the staff are usually super friendly and quick. Everything always tastes bright and clean, and it’s one of those places that somehow makes you feel a little healthier just walking in.
